Hey Brandi!First of all, congratulations on your new bundle of Joy. She is beautiful!I love having a girl... my sweetie will turn 4 in a little over a month. I don't know where the time goes, it's insane.
I to planned my baby's 1st trip to WDW before he was born. We started the planning a year ago, he just turned 9 weeks old, and we leave in less then two weeks. It's been a very tiresome year and I'm so excited that our trip is just around the corner. It's going to be intersting getting around disney with an infant but I'm up for the challenge.
I'm glad things worked out for your husband, that's great news. My husband just got bad news the other day concerning his work too.... He was told he needed to take a 25% paycut, and he either needed to take it or leave it. More then 1/2 of his co-workers were laid off as well. It couldn't come at a worse time because of the arrival of our new baby, plus our trip. And of course we can't cancel because everything is paid for already. I'm also a stay at home mom and am feeling major guilt for not being able to contribute to our monthly finances. I'm just hoping that things work out soon and this is happening for a reason. The poor guy has been there for 15 years and for them to do this to him is a real kick in the pants.
Anyway......... I'm looking foward to hearing about your plans. And I hope you're getting more sleep then I am. Enjoy every second with your new baby.
to my PTR!! WOW! It sounds like our lives are paralleled, almost 4 year olds, new babies, DH's troubled jobs, love Disney!! Congrats on your new son. You must be getting excited for your trip, it's getting so close! I'm gonna jump into your PTR when I'm done here!Bummer about your DH having to take the pay cut. I guess it's better than no pay, but when you get used to bringing home X amount of money each month, having to readjust to 25% less is no fun!
Anyway, I've got 9 more months of updates so stay tuned!

Yay for less than 10 months!!!for DxDP!! I cannot wait to read about all the yummy places you decide on. It must seem like ages before your ADR date. I am in shock mine is upcoming in less than two weeks!! Those new restaurants look nice (though Catina is not new, just expanded). I am curious to see when in Fall 2010 they will be open, I highly doubt by my trip though.
The beginnings of your plans look nice. I like DTD too just for the change of pace. Plus my DH is a huge lego fanatic so we have to go the LEGO store. I am actually going to make him a gift voucher Lego set of his choice to give him on his birthday. I want to look at Trendz since it was not there last time we went.

My ADR date does seems like it is FOREVER away! It'll be here before I know it though! 
I think both the new Italian restaurant and the expanded Cantina are slated to open on 9/1/10. Hopefully, there will be no hiccups in the process and you can check them out on your trip!
After thinking about it, I whink we will definitely make the trip over to DTD for some Christmas shopping. You're right, I like the change of pace at DTD too and who am I to deny DH his Ghirardelli fix! Ghirardelli was closed for rehab on our 2008 trip and my DH was so disappointed he said he would have changed our vacation dates if he would have known!
We are hoping for Fantasmic dinner package too. We would love not to have to wait in a long line in order to just try for seats. I will definitely check on my trip to see if they are opened and try to report it on my TR (yes, I am planning on doing one already 
I have some of the same issues where I'm at. We are working on changing the culture and the average tenure of the employees is 36 years....it's tough to change minds that have been doing things a certain way for that many years. I'm glad Mike is liking his new job-I'm sure it's a big relief for both of you. 
you had me a little worried there for a moment again--I am glad Mike got moved into a different position. 
Mike and I both got our Disney emails the other day as they kicked off the F&G festival and we both looked at each other and sighed a little. I think Mike is even wishing we were going back sooner! I've tried to talk him into a short trip and he would probably agree if he were still working for his previous employer where he had 5 weeks vacation. Since he just started this job he's not sure if he can take the time. Oh well! December is just around the corner....right??!!??!!?? 
But at least Disney is closer every day! Eva is absolutely freaking gorgeous! And so is Emily
