Eva is so beautiful! I am so sorry to hear about Mike's job!! What awful timing but maybe like you said this will be the push he needed to leave and hopefully be a blessing in disguise for you all. It is so crazy how "they" say the economy is doing better but I keep hearing of more and more people getting let go. I will keep my fingers crossed that this new opportunity works out for Mike!! Congrats again on your sweet baby girl.

I am so sorry to hear about Mike's job...what rotten timing! But, I have to give it to ya'll on being prepared for a just in case situation. AND How awesome that he was able to get a hit on a new position so quickly...should help build his self esteem and put his resume out there or even take a job so close to home with a new baby...how great would that be.

Hi Dana! We think Eva looks just like Emily only half the size!! Emily was 8lbs, 9oz when she was born 2 weeks early so when Eva came out, we were shocked by her size, but she is growing like a weed!

I hope this work out for Mike's new job Rotten timing as everyone has said. Hang in there!!!

Aww, i'm so sorry about Mike's job. Manny keeps getting laid off once in a while, but nothing too severe. He is also looking for something better to come up though. I hope everything goes well, i'm sure it's very stressful with a new baby... and of course a Disney Trip! But, glad to hear that there is some good news in there!

Hi ya Shannon! How is baby doing? I can't believe you'll be back in Disney in 2 weeks! Brat!!




I am happy to report to you all that Mike starts his new job a week from Monday! He's feeling very relieved to not be off work for too long considering the economic situation in this country, even worse, here in the Detroit area. His former job was mainly working in the auto industry which has gone in the poo poo. Luckily, the new company is not part of the automotive industry. Like I said before, the pay is a little less, but the benefits are great, and they have a matching 401K, which we did not have before. The best part is that he will be working about 15 minutes from home and there is no travel! Actually, the best part is that our Disney trip in December does not have to be compromised!!

Yay on Mike's job. I know ya'll will be much happier now that he will be home every night. Eva and Emily will have their Dad and you will have your husband. You may even find that the little pay cut doesn't even factor in. I'm glad your Disney trip is not effected, I know that is the least of worries, but it is nice to have a vacation to look forward to.

A friend of mine had her daughter about 3 years ago, full term and the tiny thing weighed about 4lbs 11oz...and man has she made up for it now! And she is the smartest little thing...giving Rylan a run for his money!

And I did make it up to Ann Arbor twice before we broke up Gorgeous town!

Hi Pam!! The girls are doing great! Eva is growing like a weed, she has already grown over and inch and has gained over a pound since she was born 3 weeks ago! Emily is over the moon in love with her little sister and can't stop giving her kisses!

This one I took with my Crackberry so the quality isn't as good, but it's one of my favorites!!

Thanks! The baby is sleeping great! She wakes up about every 3-4 hours to feed then goes right back to sleep! I can't complain!!

Hey Connie! Emily os spoiling her baby sister! Everytime we go anywhere, Emily wants to buy Eva a new toy or outfit and she can't give Eva enough kisses! She says, "I just love her so much!" It's pretty cute!

I actually have some Disney updates!!

I called and added Eva to our December reservation and changed our view from a woods view to an inner courtyard view so we will overlook the pool and Bay Lake!

Hopefully, I'll get some sort of PIN, but I'm sure there will be some sort of promotion happening during that time, so I'll keep looking out for that.

I also received our new Disney vacation DVD yesterday. It's pretty much the same one as 2008 & 2009, but with new stuff on the Give a Day promo.

Finally, we have less than 10 months to go now!!

Emily and I just watched a show on the Travel Channel about the Wilderness Lodge and Emily has decided we HAVE to do the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue!

I think we may have to upgrade to the DxDP again for all of the restaurants we want to eat at!
