We've arrived..!

Well we have arrived. I will do a proper trip report after we have returned. I must say that we took a chance on the room as we just booked a room in the main building and not the refurb montana rooms in the lodges but boy have disney come up trumps. The gave us a new refurb room on the 1st floor which was full of ballons as it was my sons birthday yesterday. .

Great news. Did you get in touch with SL to let them know about your Son's birthday - guessing you did. And also, to ask for a specific room?

We might be staying here and would prefer a centrally located, refurbed room in the main building (don't really want to stay in the lodges). We don't want much do we . Still, if I can find the hotel email address, I will probably email them and ask politely anyway!

Yes i did mail them in advance to let them know it was his birthday. I did not however ask for a refurbed room, it was just luck i got one.

It was mighty cold at 8am when the EMH began. For all the cold etc for what it's worth it would have been better to stay in bed as nothing was open, only the teacups, dumbo and carousel. All the main rides were closed till 10am and the studios never opened for EMH at all. I was really dissapointed by that so i shan't bother for the rest of the week. Weather past 11am improved greatly and has turned out to be a very pleasent day.

Anyway the fire is roaring here in Sequoia lodge and my pint glass is now empty, gonna get a refill.

SL fire sounds fab at this time of year - not sure we'll need it in June but it sounds a nice feature anyway

You've done right It was even colder this am but as long as it stays dry and sunny in the day time it's great out and about weather
