Hello, Disney Family!

We plan on visiting the water parks for the first time as a group for our trip in May! We are very excited but are wondering what everyone recommends to do after the water parks close?

We were considering changing and going into one of the other parks, but we're not sure what options we have for our wet clothes. Do people normally travel back to their resort and get ready? Is there a service we can use to have our wet clothes transferred to our resort?

I'm excited to hear responses from all you lovely people!! :thanks::thanks::thanks:

There's no service to transport wet clothes back to your resort.

We usually bring a backpack, a plastic bag, and a change of clothes. We shower/change before leaving and put the wet clothes in the plastic bag. We'd do this whether going to another park afterwards or back to the resort (we've done both depending on the circumstances).

Towels are complimentary for WDW resort guests at the water parks, so you don't need to lug towels around.

I think Disney is missing the boat on this one, they could make a killing by charging something like $5 to take your wet clothes back to your resort.

At bare minimum they could offer the spinning swimsuit dryer that my gym has, it gets out about 90% of the water in about 30 seconds.

I would have to go back to my room to get ready. I can't comfortably get dressed, to actually go out, in a locker room without my 100 different moisturizers, lotions, etc. LOL

Take it back to the room or store it in a locker at the park.

You would either go back to your resort to drop off your stuff or you'd bring it with you to the theme parks. \
I'd go back to the resort unless you plan on renting a locker for your stuff because I wouldn't want to carry around wet towels and swimsuits.

BIG THANK YOU to everyone who left positive advice above! I guess it was wishful thinking - If Disney can send my purchases to the resort, why can't they send my wet clothes?! hahaha - maybe one day! ;)

I read somewhere that people use salad spinners to get water out of swimsuits! I'll let you know how that goes hahaha :laundy:

I don't find the changing rooms at the water parks not 100% clean and sanitary. We got back to the resort to change.

We are always exhausted after a day at the water park. We go back to the resort, clean up, and go to dinner. That is it for the day!
I have not been to the Disney water parks, but that''s how we feel about any other water park. We barely have enough energy to shower and eat dinner. The sun and water really wipes up out!

If you buy something at a store, you could have it delivered to your disney hotel room. What if you put some other stuff in the bag?

When you buy something and have it sent to the resort, they do that when you purchase it. I doubt seriously they’d let you stuff in a bunch of wet bathing suits.

We never have done a park after water park. We just go back to room. Put bathing suits out to dry. Our water park day is out “off” day.
