Heads-up to anyone in the market for an inexpensive (well...as inexpensive as Disney can be) trip...

Booked 7 days @ POP with direct flights from YHZ (Halifax, NS), free dining and park tickets through WestJet vacations late last week. Just shy of $3000 for two adults; early September.

My benchmark for a "good" price during previous trips was anything under $625/day--that is, taking the entire cost of flights, accommodations, meals and tickets divided by stay length. This trip, it works out to just $425/day.

Even though the CAD-USD exchange rate sucks, there are good deals to be had via WestJet! :)

Just comparing, is that in US or CAN funds?

WestJet vacations are priced in CAD.

In the past, I've usually found it cheaper to book flights only via WestJet and then go through Disney direct for rooms, meals and park tickets. This time around, it was less expensive to book the works through WestJet. The only drawback of that is that WestJet requires full payment at the time of booking; unlike Disney which gives a bit of breathing room with deposit and balance due at a later date.

Wow...that sounds like an amazing price as it includes your flight and hotel. Thanks for the heads up.
