Since i can't stop obsessively checking prices for our January trip i just stumbled on an unannounced seat sale thru Westjet. Not really sure how the rest of you will see it BUT here's what it did to our preferred route:
Kitchener non-stop to MCO dropped almost $300.00 to a total of $732.34 when booked thru Cheapoair.ca after using the extra promo code of CA15. Direct thru Westjet $766.20 (UPDATED to CDN website sorry!and this is for TWO)

Why we like this flight?
-25 minute drive from home
-1 runway so no need to get there 3 hours early and deal with Pearson !
- parking is only $56.00/week
-leaves here at 9:45 and MCO at 2 meaning no need for an overnight hotel stay at either end of trip!
all those things add up to more than enough of a savings for us.

The sale seems to apply to any CDN airport ... (i checked because our son & his wife are now planning on joining us and KW isn't convenient for them)

I would rather drive 2 hours to Detroit or Buffalo and pay between $200-250 USD each. For a family of four $700+ each to fly out of Canada is insane to me, regardless of the convenience.

Looks like a great deal. I'll have to bookmark this website for future reference.

The prices Donald my hero quoted above was for two people. In Cdn$ by the way. The price in US$ is $541 (for comparison purposes)

We always fly out of Detroit as we are just over an hour away. Just got flights for September - $156 CND ($116 US) each for one way - return trip is free using Aeroplan points. In February I couldn't find cheap flights for our cruise and ended up paying just under $500 CND (Detroit to MCO) each but that is by far the most I have ever paid flying from Detroit to any airport in Florida (Tampa, Miami, Fort Lauderdale) - but the timing was getting into some spring break travel times. But if ottawamom is correct and $732 round trip Kitchener to MCO is for two people and not each, that is really cheap!

YES it is the TOTAL for both of us, sorry for confusion!

Looks like a great deal. I'll have to bookmark this website for future reference. Only one word of caution. They charge your card in US$. They will show the conversion to Canadian so you can compare to your Canadian deal. Just want others to be aware so they aren't surprised.
