WestJet out of Calgary

Starting in September WestJet will be adding non-stop flights to various points in the U.S. out of Calgary. Los Angeles and Orlando are on the list. I just looked at what our flight would have been (Calgary - LAX)... $176 each return. That's if we had gone in March 05 as originally planned. If you book before September it's $72 each way, not including airport taxes, etc.

Instead we are paying a little over $500 each, return. Ah well, live and learn.

Finally, someone got smart and has started offering fares like these. Even if the fares are more, it is worth it just for the non-stop flights for us Western Canadians to go to Orlando. How exciting!! We are probably not going until next year, but this definately will be on the top of my list when I book!!
