We are staying there in March 2013, just wondering if anyone knows what the extra fees we may incur would be. I have read there is a resort fee of $10/day. Also internet charges. If anybody has any insight would you be willing to share with me.

depends upon you - if you want the resort fee it can be worth it - if you are planning on doing lots of Westgate activities.

the internet connection is $9.95 - which is high. you can go to Macdonald and get it for free as wall as other dinning places plus libraries.

now if you are bringing a pet the fee is $80 for cleaning - it your pet does damage then it could be $155 plus the $80. that say most pets who travel with their owners are not know for doing damage.

stayed at the Westgate villa earlier this month and actually enjoyed it. My cats had a good time. they spend most of it on the screened in patio. got a last call from RCI.

I think this sums it up well. There are swan boats, mini - golf, volleyball, etc and that may be an added resort activity fee*. It is a great resort, we have stayed there many times. VERY close to the back entrance of AK. Be prepared, they are a hard sell timeshare.

Here is some info:
FeesUnless otherwise indicated, the charges below are not included in the overall room price. If not included in the overall room price, they will be charged by the property at check-in or check-out. Charges can vary, for example, based on length of stay or the room you book. This property told us they will charge you for the following:Resort fee: USD 9.95 per accommodation, per night (effective 19 May 2011)
Hotel resort fee inclusions (may be listed elsewhere in this description as complimentary or available for a surcharge):Internet access property-wide
Phone calls (local)
Use of fitness center
Use of sporting facilities or equipment
Use of in-room safe
Additional inclusions

Plenty of recreational opportunities are available on this 340-acre Orlando-area resort, shared with a partner property, Westgate Vacation Villas. A marina is on one of the several lakes, and offers fishing and paddleboat rentals (surcharges). Multiple outdoor pools, spa tubs, and children's pools are spread throughout the grounds and are located near accommodations. Sports include miniature golf, tennis, shuffleboard, football, basketball, and table tennis (surcharges may apply; rental equipment subject to availability). A complimentary fitness room provides cardio equipment and free weights. Two game rooms are also available.
A kid's club is open year-round for ages 2–12 (must be toilet trained) and includes arts and crafts, board games, and other organized activities (surcharges). An evening activities program offers live tiger shows, karaoke, bingo, and happy hours (surcharges). Bicycle rentals include two- and four-seat surrey bikes. Cycling and jogging are permitted within the expansive grounds

Thank you both so much! ccgirl, have you stayed in a 3 bdrm at Town Center? Is there different layouts for them or are they all the same! I see in the pictures in a lot of them there is a staircase in the middle. It also says 1 king and 3 dbls and 2 sleeper sofas. I am assuming the one bdrm will have a dbl and sofa and the other two dbls in the other room. Is there any particular building I should try to request? How are their pools any one of the them better thent he other? I know alot of questions, I find it hard to find info on this resort, when I look I keep getting the same answer about how hard sell the timeshare is, I am prepared for that, I think! Thanks again,

I used to own at the Villas; which are connected to the Town Center. I believe they do have some lock offs which is a 1BR attached to a 2BR. They do have some dedicated 3BR's as well. Do not do the meeting with the rep and you will be fine. They usually say it's a *breakfast*. I'll see if I can find the link to the map. There is a pool behind the Town Center.

HEre you go...here is the link to the map. The Town Center is on the left, the villas are on the right. You can use any pools and any facilities located at either.
