westgate town center question

We own at westgate lakes and couldn't get in this year so we had to stay at the town center. i have been reading some negative reviews of this place. Has anyone stayed there recently?

I've stayed at this resort in 2002 and 2006. We stayed there as an exchange from my in-laws time share in PA.

I enjoyed my stay there, and I'd like to stay there again in 2008.

I'm not sure what your specific concerns are.

I liked the location in relation to WDW. Pools were nice. resort ws clean. Still under construction in 06

I booked 3 nights at Westgate Town Center, and Liki Tiki Village for 6 nights in May of 2005. Signed up for the Timeshare presentations to get a reduced rate for both properties.

Westgate had a horrendous check-in line @ 11pm on a Friday night, we waited in line for and hour and a half to get our room. Once we checked in it was great, I loved the property and the amenities and the quality of the construction (which was brand new) was excellent. We should have stayed there the entire 9 nights. The timeshare presentation was long and very high-pressure, my sales lady played the guilt card "I came in on my day off to take you on the tour and missed time with my daughter for you not to buy - you totally wasted my time".

Liki Tiki Village was nice too, but the pool was too packed most of the time and the quality of the place didn't compare to Westgate. Timeshare presentation wasn't nearly as high-presssure.

I just booked again for 6 nights at Westgate Town Center the first week of October, we can't wait!
