Anyone cruised the western caribbean in January? We're going early in January and I'm wondering about water temp and air temp, also!

We did the Western on Royal Caribbean in January 2005 and loved it. 80s each day. Water temps were great. Grand Cayman we were in the water swimming and jet skiing. Absolutely gorgeous weather. You will have a great time. CC will probably be in the high 70s for January (that's what is was on our cruise in 2004).

We cruised the Eastern this past February and the weather was okay....could have been a little warmer but the sunshone we had on CC was gorgeous, just the water was chilly, the kids didn't mind though. We are cruisin again next January on the Western, January 27, when are you cruising? :sunny:

We just did the Western in Jan. GC was gorgeous!! Mid eighties, great swimming water temps. The Bahamas and Key West were cooler low 70s. Fine for shorts and bathing suits but I thought the water was a liitle cool for my liking. My DH, and DS swam and snorkled at CC, it took a few moments to get used to it but they were fine and were out there for over an hour. I love leaving the snow and blustery winds up north to head into the sunshine and warmth!! Have a magical cruise!! :sunny:
