i just called castaway club to see if they could ,would give me an insight into where we may go on the western cruise leaving 25th sept all she said was dcl couldnt or wouldnt be able to to inform cruisers of any change until just beore or after we check in !!!

A few years ago, we cruised in November and there was a hurricane at sea. We were on the cruise that goes to St. Thomas and St. Maarten. We were not informed of a definitive cruising plan until after we left port. We ended up going directly to Castaway Cay! We went to Puerto Rico instead of St. Maarten. Then ended our cruise with a 2nd stop at Castaway Cay! It was an awesome vacation!! Hopefully yours will turn out just as great.

Thanks for the update, beachbumfamily. We cruise (barring any trouble from Jeanne) on the 25th as well. I was going to call DCL toward the beginning of next week, to see if they've made any changes. It looks like we should be good for every port but Grand Cayman, so they might know before we sail if that is going to be substituted. Of course CC could be in danger from Jeanne. I keep hoping she doesnt' get strong enough or stays far enough away as to not undo all of the work put into getting the island ready for eager cruisers.
