Since I posted last on the old thread, I am going to repeat myself...

Angie and Dennis....since I am your new DC contact....you have to bring your motorhome here!! Hookups are just down the street at Bull Run Park (as in the civil war....we are in the middle of the battlefield!!

well, I know I never made it onto the cruise in the end...but I feel like you know you all through your photo's and reports of teh trip...can I carry on joining in?

Really enjoying hearing it all, but now so depressed we have nothing booked yet. House is up for sale but the market here is awful so fingers (and toes crossed!)

Think you shouls all come over here to London for a trip instead!

Ian, I liked watching the clip on the website. I wish we'd get the program here. Likely it will come around, but if you make copies I'd like to see it.

So totally off topic, but I am a HUGE madonna fan and I just got AWESOME tix for oakland. I won't be going on vacation anytime soon since the tix cost so much..but happy birthday to me. This is my very own birthday present to myself and I am STOKED!

I've been listening to my fish gift CDs. Thanks to the gift team and to Elderfam for those! (Currently rocking out to "A Little Bit of Mickey")

Think I might have to go to the movies sometime today and catch up on what I've missed....shall it be Ironman or Indy????? (Sex and The City being saved, of course, for a girlfriend excursion.)

If you haven't had enough of going to see battlefields there in DC, we have more here in our neck of the woods here close to Chattanooga, Tn. There is a KOA right off of Interstate 75 on Battlefield Hwy. We would invite you to park your motor home at our home but DH said the trees getting to our house would probably damage the top of your motor home and I know that is not a good idea. However, there is a Walmarts a few miles down the road in Ft. Oglethorpe on the left side of the road. When you get your motor home rolling, we would love for you to visit us and DH would love to talk to you about his civil war collections.

Indy was a huge dissapointment (we went last Monday).

It looks like Nan has the same camera as me, though more of a zoom than mine by the look of things.

I also want to thank the folk for the 2 CD's. I played the first one on our journey over to see our daughter this afternoon. It brightened a rainy cold day! The other I just managed to hear the first few and I know I am going to like it.

I'm a bit annoyed. I missed a few photos I should have taken. I thought I had taken some of Nan, Molly and Noel before the DTD meet but didn't. I also never took one of our decorated SR door! Plus loads of others. Like someone else said I too wish I had taken more of people. Tut!
