Oh it was a good one. very powerful, and John Goodman is doing a great job.

I have never watched West Wing before last week when BIL asked us to tape it for him while he was away. Found ourselves tuning into it this evening!

I must agree with Debster, it was a pretty powerful show but perhaps just a bit soap-opera-ish, IMO. That John Goodman, however, he is EXCELLENT!

Umm.... guess what I'll be watching next week following Enterprise?? (Just don't tell BIL, please.) LOL!

I'm really enjoying the new series. I'm not sure what series we are onto in the UK but President Bartlett has just been re-elected.

I haven't followed it closely but did watch it last night. Could someone please tell me why the vice president didn't take his place when he stepped down?

The Vice President resigned amid a scandal about 2 episodes before the current story arc started. So, since there was no VP, the next in line of succession is the Speaker of the House. I did think the episode was a good one, but missed the quick wit dialog that Aaron Sorkin was famous for. Minniespal, you're still watching last season in the UK, we're a season ahead of you.

I don't usually watch, but last night I turned it on and saw a memorial to Zoey. Is she dead?

No, Mom-to-3 she was kidnapped at the end of last season and is still missing. Loved John Goodman!

It was indeed good last night. John Goodman is doing a great job on the character that he is portraying. I am awaiting with the baited breath for the next episodes. I am extremely curious on whom will be nominated as the new V.P. My personal favorite is Leo.

Zoey is kind of flaky, but she and Charlie were just about to get back together, and I think they make a nice couple.

I agree with you Dox, that Leo would be a good VP. But wasn't it Harry Truman who said that job is worth about as much as a bucket of warm spit.

I LOVE this show! Can hardly wait until next week!

I agree totally! West Wing really is off to a great start.

Richard Schiff does a great job playing Tobey.
Everyone on that show fits so perfectly together.
All they are missing now is a great actor to play the VP.
Liliy Tomlin really cracks me up everytime I see her.
Last year I started to drift away from the show but this
Year things look like they are turning for the better.

Most of the story line is hard to believe but thats why its TV
I cant wait to see next weeks episode.
So much depends on what the new President does.
Sure would be nice if Zoey makes it out alive

Clearly John Goodmans role is one of the most interesting
Characters on TV today! The guy deserves the Emmy!
