Which is worse? Has anyone heard of any long term studies on the effect of the chemicals that they spray or of those that they plan to put in water where mosquitos would be breeding?

I have to agree. They should spend that money to get the word out about wearing insect repellent. Not only is spraying probably bad for us, but it can't ever really work. There will still be insects. Also, it disrupts the food chain. The thought of trying to mess with nature that much really bothers me.

Our city is spraying for insects, and they don't tell us when it will happen. It really bothers me since I'm pregnant, and I'd like to know when to stay inside while the bug spray subsides. I guess I'll just have to trust that my super sonic sense of smell that accompanies pregnancy will be my guide.

I wa out walking a dog when the city truck came by spraying for mosquitos. It was no fun.
