West Coast residents do EMH at WDW??

I have noticed that many (if not all) of the posters that praise EMH live in the same time zone as WDW, which makes sense to me. However, I was wondering if any people that live in the West Coast think that EMH is worth it, considering that it starts at 5:00 AM PST? Which means you need to get on the bus around 4:00 AM PST. Is the jet lag worth it? I skipped it last time, but it was mid December & crowds were not an issue. This time my family is going the last week of June.

We're from California and the EMH entry times were fine. I guess we just adjust well to time changes. The big thing for me is to get the same number of hours of sleep as I would at home (8 to 10) which means getting in early the night before we want to do EMH entry. (We only do MK and AK)

i do not think it is worth it for us. We can do all the acitivities without using the emh. We can use the morning to relax and enjoy the day. Especially since the wonders of life is closed while we will be there. In which we were disappointed.

I live in Texas now but the last time we went to WDW I was living in California and we had no problem adjusting to the time zone by the second day. We just wore ourselves out and went to bed 'early' the first night and we were easily able to be up for EMH the rest of the trip. I see lots of posts from people who skip EMH, but very few of them mention having ever done it. I don't think you can really understand how great it is until you do it. Try to do EMH for MK at least.

We're not morning people to begin with so have no plans to do EMH. But, MK is open until 11PM while we're there so I suspect we'll be closing the park a number of nights

Our goal is to get up early enough to get breakfast - that can be a challenge, especially the first few days.
