According to DCL, we leave Puerto Vallarta at 7:00 p.m., Mazatlan at 7:30 p.m., and Cabo at 3:30 p.m. My MIL's TA said that we leave the first two ports at 5:00 p.m. Anyone been told anything different? :wave2:

I'd trust the latest info on DCL's site. Some of their shore excursions would have people coming back to the ship around or a little after 6:00 pm in Puerto Vallarta & Mazatlan. BTW - My reservation confirmation that I got back in June has the old times on it (5:00 p.m.).

Travelocity lists departing PV at 5:30 p.m., Mazatlan at 8 p.m., and Cabo at 4 p.m.

I think that is best too. Maybe MIL's TA has the same info you had received in June. Thanks!

My TA just called Disney and and as of today the departure times are
Lax 5p
PVR 5P
MZT 5p
Cabo 3:30pmst the times as

Seems very early, doesn't it?

There's no way!!! (I'm not disputing your TA, I'm just shocked.) This just doesn't make sense as some of the DCL excursions won't get you back to the ship until 5pm...something's not right here. I guess I'll DCL and confirm for myself and ask how it can be possible if some of the excursions don't get you back until 4 or 5.....will keep you posted..... :flower:

Called DCL tonight and the very nice CM informed me that the times are in fact as your TA stated. So I said, well how is that going to work, given that some of the excursions won't get you back to the ship until 5pm? He was equally stumped and confirmed that ship wouldn't leave without us but at the same time he said he was sending a referral up to check on the discrepancy and also to find out why the website still says 7 and 7:30. I'll call back next week and find out the scoop. I'll keep you all posted.....

Anyone gonna chance booking the 3:00 pm Dolphin Encounter that take 3-3.5 hours? LOL

well, if you book your excursions thru dcl, aren't they "obligated" to wait for you to get back on the ship, before sailing? maybe they might cancel the last excursion times? :flower:

The DCL CM told me the ship wouldn't leave, but several excursions start at 10am and are 7 hours long, which means they're done at 5pm...sounds like there's something we don't know yet...sure we'll know soon!

Yes they are, if you book the excursion through them.

It is frustrating to have SO many things that we don't know! I hope it is just a matter of us not knowing what Disney has up their sleeves with special shows, events and dinner themes for this cruise ...and NOT that Disney is going sleevelss and hoping they can just throw some on last minute. Ya know? ;)
I am kind of expecting a new birthday themed type show, some kind of theme night, maybe a few decorations somehwhere?

hmmm well technically the excursion list is "tentative" right? I mean it's still a bit too early for anyone to have booked anything yet. It is curious, does seem rather early but then with three port days back to back, maybe had to allow more time between them? And I do hope addtional shows etc are part of the deal!

Luckily that is so or I might have had to take up permanent residence on Pleasure Island last November when the water taxi refused to take me back to the ship after my HAL Atlantis tour...EEK!

Not really...you can book excursions up to 90 days in advance of your sail date, provided your cruise is paid for in full. The first 7 day cruise is May 28th which means one on that cruise could book their excursions starting February 28th, which is less than two weeks away........... ;)

I am sailing on June 18th, and today I got my excursion confirmations. It lists the arrival and departure times as;

PV- 8:00 am- 7:30 pm

MZ-8:00 am- 8:00 pm

CSL-7:30 am- 3:30 pm

I don't know if that is what they will be, but I just received this in the mail today. :wave2:
