I have the opportunity to go to WDW for one day next week. I am a DL vet but, I haven't been to WDW since I was a child. Which park should I visit? Just me and DH. Non-drinkers. TIA

Epcot is a good idea. You can walk around the world showcase and visit all the different countries. Make sure to ride Soarin while at Epcot.

Magic Kingdom is very similar to Disneyland but the rides are different in many ways. Epcot has Soarin just like California Adventure. Hollywood Studios has Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror and Fantasmic similar to California Adventure. Animal Kingdom has Dinosaur which is exactly the same ride as Indiana Jones at Disneyland but with a different theme, obviously. Magic kingdom might be your best bet due to the number of rides and attractions available to experience. You will not run out of things to see and do and it usually has longer hours than the other parks. It's a tough choice to make. I think you will enjoy whichever park you choose!

Since your trip is in 6 days I would read through this thread. It's directed towards DW vets heading west, but since you're familiar with DL, you'll be able to use the info to see the differences between the DW and DL:

I would recommend Epcot for a one day visit because it has the least overlap with DL attractions. Skip Soarin' because the ride is identical - only the queue is different.

If you choose DHS, the Muppet attraction is totally identical; likewise Toy Story Mania (only the queue is different). Tower of Terror is similar, but there are enough differences. Skip Fantasmic because the show is MUCH better at DL.

as another DL vet, I would have to suggest going to Epcot. It was probably my favorite park when we went last year. There's wonderful food, interesting things to see and do and it's different than the parks at dl.
