Were you ever in a Disney promo — or on the Nestles chocolate chip canister?

In my never ending quest to do some downsizing I’ve been watching and releasing old videos and wondered ‘where are they now’? How cool would it be to forever see your four year old self in an old Disney video.

I’ve also decided it’s time to part with a Nestles chocolate chip canister from WDW’s 25th. What are the odds that the young girl is here on dis — and how many of the tins does she have? :confused3

Not Disney, but about 4 years after my wife and I graduated from college a friend was on campus and picked up a brochure. My wife and I were featured prominently in a large 8x10 photo on the second page of the brochure. The friend grabbed a copy for us and I have it somewhere with all our photos.

I am not sure if were were in just that one years brochures or if we had been in them for some of the years leading up to that year. In any event that brochure had been mailed out to thousands of potential students and my wife and I were the picture that had been chosen to represent fun campus life.

Nice your friend saw it or you never would have known about it. I’d say it’s pretty cool to be in your college’s brochure.

I found it, picture wasn't as big as I had remembered but here is the page from the brochure.

My wife and I are the far left pair.

The picture would have been from Spring 1991 or 1992. Whichever was the year that Carrot Top came to campus. We graduated in 1994.

The brochure mentions Sherman R Day as the president, so the brochure would be from 1996-1999. I am thinking our friend picked it up in 1997 or 1998.
