Were you a fan of the NBC show (2003-2008) Las Vegas? If so, if they ever made a reboot/sequel series, what would be your must haves in the pilot?

Yes, I watched that show. I came to it late in re-runs on TNT, but I really liked it. I don't think I'd want them to revisit it though considering they can't get James Caan.

That was the one thing that was a little crazy about that show - there were just so many people willing to cross James Caan! I mean, I wouldn't have done that in real life, much less Big Ed Deline! He'll make you pay.

The season 5 Tom Selleck arc was good and shut down way to early. They need to find a way to wrap that up properly, even if it's a limited series. TS will probably be done with Blue Bloods next season and most of the original Las Vegas cast still acts (some being on Blue Bloods and the Rookie ironically). NBC could definitely do it given their reboot past or CBS/Fox/ABC could buy the rights and make it a streaming product. People would definitely tune in. I kinda want to see what happened to Mike, Piper, Delinda, and Danny. Their kids would be in High School and that would make the show even more interesting with new characters that could easily be introduced given it would take place 15 or 16 years later. Also the last 5 minutes of the series could be thrown out and explained as Delinda's nightmare before her wedding. Delinda and Danny would wake up 16 years later in modern times and the show would start again from that point.

Ehh, Selleck was fine on the show, but it just wasn't the same anymore without James Caan. I di wish they had resolved the cliffhanger, but honestly, I don't necessarily care about more of the show with Cooper. I guess if they just started fresh with a whole new cast at the Montecito, that might be better, but I don't know that it would capture that same energy as before.

I'm saying have TS wrap up his arc in 1 or 2 episodes. Danny would be in charge at this point anyway, TS's character would be retired at 78. Delinda' culinary career would have increased in the past decade and she would be career oriented while being a great mom. Mike and Piper would still be involved but to a lesser extent in the casino given that they had other career goals within Las Vegas (the Christmas Carol episode). They would still interact with the other characters but would bring a new dynamic to the show. Sam and Vic could also return as well. So many possibilities.

I don't think so. I know CBS made a bad tv series under the same name that had nothing to do with this one.

There was a series called Vega$ on ABC in the 1970's and then a series at CBS in 2012 called just Vegas, that came after NBC's Las Vegas. None of the shows are actually related in anyway other than the setting.

That's what I thought.

The sad part of this is that it was only canceled due to the 2008 writers strike. They could totally continue the storyline with some modern updates.

It got pretty bad after those seasons.

I really like Seasons 3 & 4, but I understand how you could feel that way. I kind of liked the show because it was ridiculous, and it only got moreso as it moved forward - perhaps too much for some.

I LOVED Las Vegas. But then I watched for Josh Duhamel, I did grow to love the show and the characters.

I actually have 2 episodes on my dvr that will NEVER be deleted the s2 finale titled Centennial with Jon Bon Jovi and s3 ep15 titled Urban Legends with Joe Manganiello (best known as Alcide Herveaux on True Blood and the Magic Mike movies)

I'm peeved that when it went into syndication they changed the theme song, not an Elvis fan at all but I love "A Little Less Conversation" now when E! plays it's twice yearly marathon I cringe cause the song is horrible.

I wanna know what happened to Danny & Delinda's baby. Did she lose it? Emergency surgery to save D & and the baby?

And to answer your other question yes I'd watch a reunion reboot. Although it might be a morbid idea to say they reunited for Ed's funeral/medmorial.

The baby was supposed to be born according to the writers.

Season 5 became more realistic to get it back on track.
