were the 300 ct LED multi lights at Target (2 day sale) something they normally carry

I purchased one yesterday... One section kept going out. I figured out where it was and sort of fixed it but the way I had to fix it scares me that it's no longer safe... I had to kind of bend a wire back into place inside and the wire got a bit bent up and... well.. I get nervous with electric things.

So NO target around me has any of these left. I want the $30 price b/c it was a great deal... I wanted the tree done and up today *cry*..

Target couldn't tell me if they'd get more in. They said they get shipments monday so I should call then... I'm torn.. should I trust the set I have won't catch fire? Should I just hope they get more lights next week? Should I bite the bullet and spend $$$ on ones that weren't on sale?

I am really hoping Target will get more of these in...

I would call them every day this next week and ask if they have that item (number) in so I could exchange them.
