We're not going back 5 years but this is our 5th trip in4years!WERE BACK,NEW tr link

We are under the same Blizzard warnings here in Maryland. Snow is stressful enough without having to worry about the affects on your vacation. :scared1:

Hang in there and enjoy being snowed in with your family. Hopefully everything will work out for your vacation.:goodvibes

That so sucks.

I was hoping if it snowed that bad Saturday, they have all day Sunday to clean it up, so we could be back Monday

But guess if that much and we have a lot of schools like you do, they probably would need Monday as well to clean all the schools

Hang in there :goodvibes

Hi Kelly! I hope you are surviving!!! We are under a blizzard warning until 7pm!!

We're getting 9 inches here tonight, thank god we're not getting as much as you:scared1: We got 3 days off from school right before christmas break due to 24 inches, but luckily since then all of the major snow falls have occurred on the weekend

We had that same storm and were closed those same 3 days!!! I don't see how they could possibly have everything ready for school to open on Monday!

Ugh.....PA is bracing for this but it looks like the southern counties are going to get it worse than us.

I hope you get much much less than forecast.

Can you make a trip in July or August or are you all pretty set on June? I'm just wondering why your dates aren't flexible into the summer. Yes, I'm being nosy but just trying to understand. :)

Unfortunately, we are getting MORE then orginally thought! Yes, we are very set on June because the boys start football on August 1st and I like to have some of the summer at home and we have friends coming to visit the end of July, beginning of August and a wedding the 2nd week of July!

I hope you are dealing with the weather OK...I saw that Baltimore is going to end up with close to 40 inches!!:scared1::scared1:

Oh Diane, misery loves company!!! :rotfl: I am here inside watching the snow dump from the sky too.... we had that blizzard warning last night... I think they lifted that, but the snow is falling falling falling. We have easily over 2 feet of snow now... If Bmore gets 40 inches, we are going to be close to 3.... we have only one remaining "snow day" -- then the county kicks into "state of emergency" status -- if they are smart -- and hopefully we won't have to make up TOOOO many days... the official final day of school for us is the 16th... We leave for Disney on the 19th... SO I feel your pain!!!! Anyhow, it is pretty  Hope all is okay with you! Good luck as you hunker down for the rest of the night!!

Hey Diane

We are at about 2ft I would think.

I am not going out to check, way too cold :rotfl:

It seems to be dying down, so think end is near:goodvibes

You all are very very busy Diane! I SOOOO hope all the dates work out for you!!!!

Hi Diane - Hope you survived the giant snow storm ( we have nicknamed it Expedition Everest around our house) we probably have about 30 inches in Maryland. I am just glad we didn't lose electric during the storm. I have heard that since Maryland declared a state of emergency we might not have to make up the days not sure it that's true yet or if NJ would do something similiar.

Hi Diane!! First of all, I am so sorry about all the snow. Every night when we got in from the parks we put on the weather channel to see how it was going and we knew it wasn't good!! Keeping our fingers crossed for you and your dates my friend:flower3:

Hi!!! I hope you had a great trip!! I can't wait to read all about it!! Thanks for thinking of us!

Just checking in to see you how are holding up ? Are your schools open ? We are closed here and another storm is coming today into tomorrow ... another 12-20 inches. Are you getting hit again ?

We are surviving..we were delayed on Monday and CLOSED today! It's not looking good for tomorrow either!!

Hello from snow ridden New Jersey!!!!:sad1::sad1::sad1: Well, we officially now have to add on 4 days to the end of the year, putting our last day at June 23rd! It is not looking good for school tomorrow either!!!:sad2: Anyway, my thoughts have drifted to the magic of WDW so that I can cope with this NON STOP weather!!!

In my last update I left you all hanging about being 4 miles from Disney but not staying on property...so here is the explaination!!!

Last August we had the priveledge of spending 8 wonderful days in sunny Aruba (boy does that sound heavenly right about now:cloud9:) We stayed at one of Marriotts timeshares. Well about 4 days into our stay, we returned to our villa to find that a pipe had burst and water had flooded EVERYTHING in our room!!!

Some of our things were ruined so as a way to compensate us, they offered us a free week at any Marriott timeshare. As many of you have guessed by now, we chose to tack the free week onto our Disney trip in June! So once we check out of the Animal Kingdom Villas, we will be spending another week in sunny Florida at Marriotts Harbour Lake resort!!! We will get more use out of our annual passes and and possibly hit Sea World or Universal...the boys (all 3 of them) will FREAK OUT over Harry Potter Land!!! We decided that adding on to our current vacation would be more economical then coming back home and then having to travel a 2nd time over the summer!

It is also for this reason we really need our car down there...the rental prices are OUTRAGEOUS for the week leading up to the 4th of July!!!

Anyway, I hope you are all surviving this miserable winter!! I will leave you with this picture that sure brought a smile to my face!!!

How awesome to get a free place to stay for a week! :thumbsup2 And since you'll already have the APs, it really won't cost much to stay another week. :cool1:
