Hi there! Welcome to another Trip report from the dddisrunner family! For those of you that are joining us for the very first time, let me introduce you!

First up is me~Diane~ 39~ holding on to 39 for the next 2 months until the big 4-0 becomes a reality! I am the cheif planner of the family, master packer and head Disney geek/freak! I am a loving wife to my husband of almost 12 years Bryan and Mother to our 2 wonderful children, Matthew & Eric. I am also a Health and Physical Education teacher.

Next up is my DH Bryan~43~ the TOTAL Disney convert! His famous last words are "we are not coming back to Disney for at least 5 years!" ~ummm, yeah, OK, honey! 3 months later we were DVC members AND he has even gone on a weekend getaway WITHOUT the rest of us! Bryan is a foodie and a beerie (ha ha)! He is a LOVER of the NY Giants and enjoys golfing too!

Third in line is our DS #1 Matthew~9~ turns 10 3 days after my dreaded 40th birthday! Matthew is daddy's little buddy~ they both love history and food! Matthew is the one that keeps us all in line! He reminds us which attractions we like and don't like, he tells us which resorts are acceptable or not acceptable and the restaurants too! This child forgets NOTHING!!! In recent months he has also adopted a very convincing British accent that goes along perfectly with his particular ways! He is sweet at the core and is always willing to please!

Last but not least DS #2 ~Eric~8~ he is the family comedian! Short in stature BIG in attitude, he is mommy's sweet baby boy!~afraid of ANYTHING that moves that is not mechanical~all animals FREAK HIM OUT! He has been known to zing out some 1 liners that have complete strangers in tears of laughter!

As I previously mentioned, we are fortunate enough to be DVC members and owners at Dianey's Animal Kingdom Villas! Our first stay on property was in April of 2007. We stayed at the Pop Century and LOVED it! We missed the dream squad more times than I could count. We needed some redemption so in April of 2008 we returned to the world! This time we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and FELL IN LOVE with that resort!! To us it is truly our "home away from home"! We also had MAJOR dream squad redemption on that trip! We won Dream Fastpasses twice AND Dream Lanyards BUT the best part was we got to open the Magic Kingdom with Mickey!

TRULY a magical vacation filled with amazing memories that we won't soon forget!

This is the trip where Bryan uttered his famous "not for 5 years line"! WELL 3 months later we bought DVC! In June of 2009 we had the incredible opportunity to stay in Disney for 15 days/nights! We spent 12 of them at Saratoga Springs Resort and 3 at The Boardwalk Villas! It was a memorable trip in sooooooo many ways! We loved being able to try out new resorts and many, many new restaurants! We also had a DIS meet that ended with us having some phenomenal new friends! So much so that they will be making guest appearances in our TR because our trip will overlap with theirs for a few days!

Here they are!

We also had the privledge of going back to Disney this past fall with the boys Grandmother's for MNSSHP! A first for us and a stay at Bay Lake Tower!

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever thing we would be able to afford DVC but it has allowed us to see things and visit Disney like I never thought possible! I feel so blessed!

So what is up for our newest adventure you are wondering.....

Right now( explaination to follow soon...) our dates are June 18-27 at AKV'S Jambo House in a standard view studio! I CANNOT wait to see that gorgeous lobby and be immersed in the African Savannah! Ahhhh...I can just picture it now!!

We are still undecided about the dining plan because Matthew is an adult this year! :headache:

Soooo we have some fuzzy Disney math to calculate to determine the benefit and cons to doing it or not!

I'm in for your PTR as I really enjoyed your other TR's. We were there most of the same time as you last summer and our dates overlap again this summer too as we are there June 23rd to July 2nd! :thumbsup2

Your "tag" line sounds very similar to my Disney trip history. Except my DH hasn't converted to that degree yet, unfortunately! :rotfl:

Trying to use the last of my points this year. I don't know if we'll keep it, but I have airline credits we need to use. That's the line I'm using on my hubby. :rotfl:

GREAT start (as always). We are so excited to experience more vacation memories with you and your family. I'll wait until we've booked airfare to start our Pre TR.
LOVED the pics of you guys opening Magic Kingdom, praying we get to be so lucky one day. So funny that we've seen Bryan go from a 5 year plan to hob knobbing with the Dis crew at Disapalooza :woohoo:
