We're late for a very important date May 2013 TR Updated 5/17 New TR started!

Hey, maybe not the best pictures ever, but at least your trip was well-documented! :rotfl: No questions on where you had been. I wish I'd been able to ride Under the Sea more than once. Cool ride, though I agree with you on the clam shells. Looking forward to BoG!

I absolutely love the outside of Under the Sea!! Eric's castle has always been my favorite, so I love that I can see it in person now.

The selfie is so funny! All three of you smiling and Gavin looking up like, "What are we all looking at, guys?" :rotfl: Cute!!!

I'm not sure which castle would be my favorite. Price Eric's is pretty cool, since it's a sea castle! Haha that picture cracks me up. I should've used my phone since it has the selfie camera.

Well I think sometimes we took those terrible pictures for the time stamp on them. I made sure that the time and date was set on our camera for that purpose so we'll go with that :) I agee, I wish we could've rode it more than once. Maybe soon!

I agree with you - it is nice to see Ariel have her own ride in WDW! She deserves it and it was such a beautiful there when you were there that I don't think anyone can mess up those pics!

Gavin looks like he is having a wonderful time at lunch!

Wow, that's great that your "45 minute" wait was only 8 minutes! :cool1:

Yes, Peek-a-Boo is indeed the best game ever. :thumbsup2

You were smart to sit in a convenient spot and go get the high chair from across the room. We sat near the high chairs, but had to trek across the ballroom for everything else.

The desserts (and the meals) look delicious! Gavin seems to concur. :rotfl:

Hmmmm, my memory is very poor on these types of things, but I had thought we changed Izzy in that bathroom. So, either 1.) I'm wrong (which is entirely possible) or 2.) They put one in between our trips. :confused3

Glad you had a good experience at Be Our Guest!

Ha ha! I had to laugh at your comment that IaSW is a step above Figment. I completely agree. I won't stand in line long to ride an attraction where same song is played over and over .....

Now Pooh and Dumbo are classic. That was a cute photo of the three of you on Dumbo. I'm sure your mom was very happy to get that.

Wow! An 8 min standy by line for BoG? Awesome. I really want to try lunch there. Those strawberry cupcakes are awesome. :)

He did have a good time, and thanks for not ripping on DH's photography skills, lol. I'm sure he appreciates that :)

I was glad it wasn't a 45 minutes wait too. 8 minutes is not bad in Disney! I guess we just got lucky with the table we picked. It was nice being close to everything. You know how you always forget stuff and have to get up so many times, well it was nice to be right there! Everything was really good, it's definitely a must do!

Hmm maybe I did change his diaper in there? I know there were several places I made notes in my TR journal that there was no diaper changer. I really don't remember changing him in there though.

I think those 2 things are still definitely better than Stitch :rotfl2: She was very happy to have those pictures, thanks! The cupcakes were definitely worth it! We were unable to score a dinner ADR for BoG in May but we have plans to at least have lunch there again.

Wow, you were on a roll with the updates! :rotfl:

So nice to hear that Brandan had a great time at WDW. :goodvibes

You got some really cute shots of Gavin with his ears! :thumbsup2

I'm am so stressed out just reading about your whole departure day! :crazy2: We've had some of those things happen to us too, but not all at once. Somehow, we manage to be late to our Magical Depress more often than we should. And darn airline employees yelling at innocent people trying to do their best. :sad2: Glad you ended on a high note with a relaxed meal and, of course, a french fry in the ear. :listen: :rotfl2:

Great report and looking forward to your next trip - just around the corner!

Just finished all your updates, Melissa!! Guess you wanted to get done before May, right? ;) I was thinking about it, but with only three weeks to go (:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:) it doesn't look like it's going to happen for me!

So many great Photopass pictures in these updates! The ones of Brandan on the bridge are really great, as are the precious ones of Gavin in his ears on Main Street. :goodvibes It must have been so sweet to hear from Brandan how much he enjoyed taking the trip with you! I know whenever we take someone on any kind of trip with us, we feel like we need to "entertain" them and make sure they have a great time. I'm sure it was really great to hear just that from Brandan!

OMG, we had a pretty bad experience getting home ourselves, but yours...:scared1::scared1::scared1: I don't think I would have been as calm as you were faced with the possibility of missing another flight! Thank goodness you didn't, but seriously, the amount of rudeness you encountered... :sad2: Leaving that Disney magic kind of smacked you in the face, didn't it?!

Really enjoyed this TR, Melissa! I can't wait to see y'all in just a few more weeks!!!

I'm so glad we got the ears, it made for some cute pictures. I'm not sure how well he will tolerate them as a toddler, LOL.

So it's no surprise that we're not flying, right? LOL. Really it was all our fault we were late both times so I can't be mad but it definitely was not fun. We did end on a high note though you're right. All good meals end with a french fry in the ear, right? :rotfl2:

Yes I wanted to finish up before we leave in a few weeks! I still can't believe I have been dragging this out for a year almost  I can't imagine trying to juggle more than one TR, I struggle with one!

I tried really hard not to be upset both times because it really was our fault we were late but it's not like we did it on purpose and we weren't being rude or entitled so a little kindness would've went a long way. It's always apparent when you leave the Disney bubble, that's for sure!

Thanks! Our trip will be here so soon and we are SO excited!

Oh my gosh! The anxiety of your travels back home between the Magic depress and finding seats together on the plane! I'm relieved for you that everything worked out well!

How awesome that your brother would do it all over again and have that week with you. What a great way to celebrate Mother's Day week.

Oh, and those mouse ears for Gavin - too adorable. Especially the photo of you guys watching Wishes on that last night. :goodvibes

I'm so glad that I was able to read along and experience Gavin's first Disney trip as you shared your stories. You survived Daniel being a wheelchair bound guest and you are an expert at ghetto changing diapers! I love that. Hey, all moms have had to do it. Gotta do what you gotta do. :p

Just caught up on the last 3 or 4 updates. Sorry I fell so behind!

Mouse ears are a must for baby's first trip! ::yes:: And Gavin looked absolutely adorable in his. Love the PP pictures in front of the castle after the fireworks.

Yikes! That sounds like a crazy stressful departure. I can't imagine dealing with all that. All while trying to keep a baby happy and push a wheelchair...
Let's hope in May you won't have any problems arriving and leaving. I think you all deserve to catch a break. :rotfl:

I know what you mean about Disney and nursing. I pretty much nursed Landon anywhere in Disney if I couldn't get near a Baby Care Center, but even to this day back at home, I go out to my car if I'm in public. :confused3

Oh, no- just read this. Sending prayers and healing thoughts for Gavin. Let us know how he is doing when you get a chance.

:grouphug:

Oh no, I just saw this now. Praying for Gavin and hoping he's doing okay! :grouphug:
