We're late for a very important date May 2013 TR Updated 5/17 New TR started!

Adorable update!! It seems like all the babies (in the TRs I'm reading/writing) had an amazing time at Crystal Palace. I can't wait to do our update now. :hyper: But, that will have to wait. Anyway, I love all the pictures! You have some great ones in there and he sure is all smiles! So cute! The characters there really seem to do a fabulous job delighting the babies. But, of course, Pooh Bear vs. Cheese is always a tough battle. :rotfl2: I think Gavin's got it right - why not have both at once? :confused3 So glad you had a great experience there!

Gavin looks like he is having a great time! He is really into the characters. How cute!

And who doesn't LOVE puffed french toast?

Fun update!

Awww love this update!! Gavin was so cute with the characters and it sounds like they were also fantastic with him! And your breakfast plates look delicious...mmm!!

Wow Gavin did great with Pooh and friends - all smiles even up close!

We also found that the character breakfasts could drag a bit - we often had to send out a "runner" before our breakfast was open to pick up fast passes as soon as we saw the gates were open for the masses

Pooh's Puffed French Toast is so good ... and I tried that breakfast lasagna for the first time last trip and it was really good too - couldn't have too much of it though as it was very rich and heavy

AWESOME BREAKFAST!!!

These photos are TOO cute!

You definitely need to make a collage of these 4 photos!

As you know, I have been posting comic strips to start each of the chapters in my trip reports. I cut this out a while ago, but I don't really have a place for it, but I thought it would fit nicely here:

I just read two TR updates involving babies & Crystal Palace, so I am all smiles this morning! :goodvibes Glad Gavin had such a great time with the characters! I can almost hear him giggling just by looking at some of those photos. We have kind of decided doing multiple character meals is a waste and too hectic, but we are keeping the CP/pre-park opening tradition as our only one from now on!

Oh this was such a cute update! The pictures are all so adorable. I'm so glad y'all had such a great time! Crystal Palace is such a winner.

Wow, two out of three mountains down at once! At least you got on the third one. I kinda like back better on BTMRR - the engine blocks the view from the front and the back doesn't lag after summiting a hill the way the front does. They are both a unique experience, though.

That is a long walk from BTMRR to Space and back! Good for a stroller nap, though. :thumbsup2

Yay, the Tangled bathrooms. How weird is it that I'm still disappointed in myself for forgetting to use them? :confused3 Luckily, many DISers have been kind enough to take pictures and post them online! :rotfl:

Aw, glad he liked the carousel. We didn't have a chance to do it and she still hasn't been on one. I'm sure it'll be a hit.

OMG - I bet you really enjoyed taking Gavin on the carousel. It makes me really miss those days. I guess I'll just have to wait for grandkids.

Fun pictures! He looks like he is having a blast!

Oh my gosh!!!! What adorable photos at CP breakfast with the characters.

Ha ha! Gavin didn't put down his cheese.

Ok, now I'm officially craving waffles.

So glad Gavin loved the carousel as well. That is such a classic "little ones" ride. I have photos of my boys when they were little on the carousel and it's a treasure! :)

Thank you! I think it's funny we all ended up doing the CP pre-park breakfast (I can't wait to read yours!) LOL There is not much that Gavin would pick over cheese. I don't think we've found anything yet haha. If you ask him what he wants to eat no matter what time it is, CHEESE! When we were at the library last week he kept telling everyone he was going to have cheese for lunch. I was like okay Gavin, we do feed you things besides cheese!

Gavin looks like he is having a great time! He is really into the characters. How cute!

Fun update!

Thank you! I hope he still loves the characters in a few weeks. The puffed french toast was so good!

These pictures are making me wish I would've booked it again for our May trip but oh well, we have some other fun things up our sleeve. I hope he still loves the characters this year, toddlers are funny people!

That is a good idea to send a runner for FPs. DH would've been the dedicated runner but his foot was broken :rotfl2: I guess we don't have to worry about it this time with FP+. The breakfast lasagna was soo good, I couldn't believe I had not seen it mentioned on the DIS before. It was rich though.

AWESOME BREAKFAST!!!

Yes they would make a great collage! You just reminded me to get out the big collage frame I need to spray paint to get it in his room for this purpose. There are too many openings to do just our CP pictures but those 4 will go right in the middle. I love that comic!

Oh I bet that did make you smile this morning :goodvibes We couldn't get any pre-park ADRs this trip but it's okay. We don't know how Gavin is going to react to the characters this time anyway. I think the one ADR for CP breakfast is definitely worth it though but I'm not upset that we are going to miss it this time.

How can you go wrong with Pooh and friends?! Thanks! :goodvibes

Hahaha, Tangled bathrooms forever!

Hahaha

There needs to be a Frontierland to Tomorrowland shortcut LOL. I'm trying to think now how I got there... I think I cut through adventureland and crossed the hub to Tomorrowland. Going back I think I went through Fantasyland to Liberty Square. I had a sleeping baby so luckily I wasn't in a hurry!

I can't believe you missed them! LOL. I think Izzy will love it when she gets to experience one!

I'm trying to enjoy all these moments, that's for sure. Time is going way too fast!

Thank you. Oh Gavin and his cheese... Mmm mickey waffles!
I think the carousel will be a good ride to watch him grow on through pictures each year.

I can't believe Stitch's handler made Daniel move with the broken foot, wheelchair, and sleeping baby - crazy! Impressive he was able to do it successfully.

No cream cheese pretzel at the Lunching Pad?! :scared1: Oh, I hope they haven't gone away - those were great!

Sounds like you got some of the classic/baby-perfect rides done (and Space Mountain during nap time, of course). Looking forward to more!

I'm glad you got to ride Space! That is one I have pretty much given up on since Paxton came along because it's my least favorite of the three mountains. I haven't ridden since 2009!

That's more than a little ridiculous that they made Daniel move! I'm sure the earth would have imploded if Stitch had to meet a few feet over...

Great family photo on Dumbo!

I know, right?! Geez Stitch. I hope they aren't gone for good either. They used to have them at my work sometimes and I would get them, but I'm almost never at work anymore so I don't know if they still have them.

I finished typing up the rest so I'm going to be posting it over the next week or so.

Space is a take it or leave it ride for me but since Gavin was sleeping I'm glad I decided to ride. I like the old version better though. Since the 2009 refurb it's more intense and jerky I think.

I know Stitch, seriously LOL

thanks! It's one of my favorites.

I absolutely love the outside of Under the Sea!! Eric's castle has always been my favorite, so I love that I can see it in person now.

The selfie is so funny! All three of you smiling and Gavin looking up like, "What are we all looking at, guys?" :rotfl: Cute!!!
