Not long arrived back at Ebbsfleet, terrible experience at MLV station this afternoon. We went to check in and the station was closed, armed police everywhere, fire engines, bomb squad!! I went to check the departure board just inside near the post office when there was a huge controlled explosion on a suspicious item. I ran back to dh, children and my parents - it absolutely scared the life out of me!! I was shaken for ages, petrified to go in the station once it reopened! Not a nice thing to experience at all. We finally got away a hour late, check in was chaos. Behind us in the queue was Linda Robson (birds of a feather) she was lovely and chatted for a while.

Other than that we have had a fabulous week, weather amazing (coming home with suntans!) We're currently on the M25, should be home around 12 am!

Hope adr and his family got back safely too, they were also on our eurostar.

goodness thats a scary end to your trip!

I hope the rest of your journey home goes smoothly, and I look forward to the highs, lows, and maybe even a trip report :)?

Welcome back, shame about the end of your trip. Hope the rest of your trip was good:)

Welcome back! I hope you're better after that scary accident. Looking forward for your TR!

Welcome home!
Oh my that's awful. I would be terrified. Glad you had a great time this aside xx

Glad to hear you had great time but what a scary ending.... Hope you are feel better now...

Glad to hear to got home OK. Security scares on the way home are not fun, at least you were not delayed for too long.

I am always checking that we have all our bags when traveling, I don't think DW would like the idea of one of her bags being blown up.

Thanks mickeysfavouritegirl, i almost got home in one piece but lost a leg in the explosion. But still had agreat week! How lucky we were with the crowds and great weather!??!! Thursday was absolutley stunning!!

Glad your home safely too, it was a nightmare! Btw I'm sure I saw you on 2 occassions but was too shy to say hello! Oops! We were very very lucky, best weather we've ever had in March at DLP and yesterday most rides were walk ons!

One CM told me she won't be in today coz she was having a bad hair day! No need to speak too me like a kid mate, im 39 yrs old, a simple no shes not available today would do! :-). Bless him.

Oh no, did you see her at all? Dh told me off for not saying hello to you lol! Did you get on carriage 14 at Ashford? And I think I saw you at Santa Fe check in.

Nope didnt get too meet her. Only saw her on the parade. I thought my daughter would be gutted but after meeting ariel, Snow White, sleeping beauty, belle, jasmine and Milan, she hasn't really mentioned rapunzel. Her new favourite is now sleeping beauty.

Yes we did get on at carriage 14. If i had known what you looked like I'd have said hello my dear. Im not shy.

We were on carriage 14, the first seat as you entered the doors from the luggage rack. In recognised you from the photo on your trip report lol.

Both my parents in law were on that train too!! We drove, they took the Euro! They arrived in London with 45 mins before their connecting train to Wales, but because of the madness, passports, etc, they missed it by minutes!! Luckily the next train was only an hour later!

Linda Robson was stalking us!! lol We saw her by Buzz ride twice, and she nearly decapitated me with a balloon! lol She was lovely though! Also, PIL heard someone come back to their carriage on the Euro (not sure what number it was....) all excited that they'd met Jenifer Saunders! When they showed a picture to their other half, he apparently rolled his eyes, tutted, and drying corrected her that it was Linda Robson! (Hope that wasn't one of you guys!)

I'm impressed with your determination! How many times did you do the Pavillion?? I only braved it Wednesday morning and joined the queue (already 20 people there?!) at 9.20am ish while the others went on IASW. Finally managed to meet Cinderella, so DH was happy! But couldn't do it again. :)

The Studios meet and greet was great though (Thursday morning) so we also managed to meet Jasmine, Ariel and Mulan, and DD spotted Snow White as we were walking the back way between Fantasyland and Discoveryland Friday morning - I think Snow WHite was returning from the Pavillion and we had a lovely wave and a hello direct to DD. So once again she was happy as there was NO ONE else around!

It was utter chaos! Luckily we'd parked at Ebbsfleet so didn't need connecting transport. Glad your PILs managed to get home safely! Lol @ Jennifer Saunders, when Linda got out of the lift I was starstruck lol. Her granddaughter had the same buggy as my dd :-)
