Woo hoo!

Just when I thought we had the best trip possible planned (going with Brother, Nephew, Sister-in-law and her Mom for first time, Wishes, PhilharMagic, Mission Space and so many new things to see, we were able to extend our stay by another night, got every PS we wanted, booked Keys to the Kingdom Tour, etc.), my Sister-in-law and I were talking about what to do for a special dinner on our last night, and she mentioned that she had never eaten in Cinderella's Castle.

DH and I had a wonderful dinner in the Castle last fall and especially enjoyed walking out of the nearly empty MK afterward.

Even though I knew it would be tough only two weeks out, I emailed our fabulous Dreams Unlimited TA Susan and she got it for us.

I can't say enough about DU and how incredible Susan has been. Friendly, patient, full of good advice and always quick to respond. :jumping1:

Yippie for you!:bounce: :Pinkbounc I too love Dreams and allthe great help they provide. Enjoy a wonderful dinner and a great vacation!

Susan is my agent also. She is terrific and right now she's working on getting dinner in the castle for DH and I.

Have a wonderful trip.

I can't say enough about Dreams either. I have Merrie, and she's a godsend!

TammiMcMan: Good luck!

Aside from the Castle ambience and the wonderful food and service, we really enjoyed the magic of leaving the MK almost alone. I hope you get to enjoy it too!

We've eaten dinner in the castle three times and each one has been just heavenly. Mmmmmmm. I highly reccomend the prime rib. The salad with cranberry's was fabulous and so were the crab cakes.

Nothing beats being in the Castle.

Thanks. Susan actually just sent me an e-mail saying that she had secured a ps for 5:40. So far, that's the latest offering that Disney dining has. We'll be there on January 3rd celebrating our 20th anniversary and the MK is scheduled to be open until midnight, so not much chance that we'll have the park to ourselves after dinner. I'm trying to plan it around the 2 Spectro's and the fireworks. This will be our first time seeing Wishes and I think I'd prefer to be outside watching and hearing the narration.

Well, here's a request for everyone, if I can get a seating for 7pm, do you think we can see Spectro from a window table? The first one is showing at 8pm, so I thought that we might be just finishing up with dessert and coffee by that time. If we're out of the castle by 8:30, that would give us a 1/2 hour to find a spot for Wishes. (I've heard that Main Street & Tomorrowland Speedway are good viewing areas - if anyone can confirm). Either way, it will work out for us because Spectro is showing again at 10pm that night. No kids this trip, so we are planning on staying in the park until closing.

Oh how I love seeing my trip counter fall below 60 days :Pinkbounc

HI EVERYONE,

I AM GOING TO DW IN FEB. AND WAS JUST GOING OVER MY LIST OF PS. IT NEVER CROSSED MY MIND THAT YOU CAN EAT IN THE CASTLE.
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF IT'S TO LATE TO MAKE A PS FOR THE CASTLE? IF IT'S NOT TO LATE, WHAT DO I ASK FOR WHEN I CALL?

THANKS

LORI

It's definitely not to late to call. We've done lunch and the princess breakfast at the castle, but this will be our first time for dinner. Just ask Disney dining about Cinderella's castle for dinner and you should be all set. They may only have projected Magic Kingdom hours out right now, so seatings might only be made up until 5pm. I'd take what you can get right now and if possible, make a change when they post the park hours. I'm at 60 days out right now and didn't seem to have a problem getting the day that I wanted.
