Hi and welcome!
This is my first trip report.
I'm Julia. My only son B just turned 4, and I've been waiting on the right time to take him to WDW. I hadn't been in about 20 years so it was definitely time.
Let me preface this by saying I always hate my pictures and this one is no exception. But it is one of the few from the trip that I am actually in.
IMG_4380.jpg

That's me on the right. I'll go ahead and introduce my best friend from high school, Kayla. That's her on the left. We've barely seen each other in years but try to keep in touch. When my parents couldn't make this trip, I knew I wanted her to come. She just graduated with her B.A. so had a little free time.

Now B, he loves all things Pixar. He didn't know who Mickey Mouse was before I started planning the trip. Now he talks about Mickey Mouse daily. Usually mentioning "Mickey Mouse fights the dragon" (you'll hear more about that later) And now for my favorite picture of the trip.

:)
I finished with school with 1 week left in May. I completely forgot about Memorial Day and thought it would be best to go that last week than any other time in summer. I still think it was probably better.

The week before leaving...
I had just had the most challenging academic week of my life. It was final time in my first year of med school. I had slept about 3 hours a night for about 9 days by the time Friday came around. So yeah Friday at 12:30 I took that horrid 4 hour test and headed back home to pack. We traveled the 3 hours to my parents house and visited for a day.

This is where the fire part of the title comes in.

My dad called saying he heard there was a forest fire, and they had shut down Disney World. I thought no way that must be Disney Land, forest fires are always happening in California, right? I didn't have internet at my parents house, and it was taking too long on my phone. I called Kayla and asked her to check. She did and it said a highway was shut down, not actually Disney World. So great.

Sunday...here comes the high water part

A tropical storm was forming, set to hit northern Florida. This is when I felt like that saying I put in the title was happening to us. (I replaced one word ;) ) So we decided to leave as planned.
lastofdisney2012016.jpg

And kept watching the weather on Kayla's phone as we went.
IMG_4356.png

Looking at this picture now, I'm wondering if there really is a town called Town 'N' Country.

We ended up stopping in Tifton, Ga at 4:00 am. We didn't get a drop of rain that night. We left at 9 am and went on the highway down the coastal side of Fl. We avoided rain until we were about an hour from Disney. Then it poured for a bit and we went about 30 mph. But we didn't care because the billboards for Universal and Disney were all around us. We finally went under the Disney World sign. :worship:

Our original plans was to arrive at 8 am and go straight to AK, then Epcot for Illuminations and dinner. Well we didn't get there till 4 pm so checked in at AK Kidani and then went straight to Epcot... where our next post begins.

Well we checked into our room at Kidani. It was a studio, but was plenty big for the 3 of us. We only ended up being there from 12 am- 7 am every day. I wish one morning I would have left open for ordering room service for breakfast and just watching the animals on the balcony. But alas, next time. (We only stayed there 3 nights and had 2 nights at Royal Pacific on Universal property.) I loved how we could park underneath our room. Otherwise we would have had a trek from the lobby. So if you stay here without a car, definitely request to be close to the lobby.

We didn't take any pictures of the room really but snapped one of these guys waiting on us. It really, really made my day. I wasn't expecting one at all because I didn't know if DVC got them. I have to admit, I was worried because the whole way down I really wasn't excited. I had been looking forward to this for months and I couldn't get myself excited. (I think it was left over stress from exams.) But once we got in that room I was literally jumping up and down. (Sorry if you were below me)

IMG_4367.jpg

I don't know where the butterfly was actually placed because B had it in his hand the first I ever saw of it. And I was so excited I never thought to ask him where it came from.

There weren't any animals except a few birds but we didn't have time to stay anyway. We had an ADR at Rose & Crown.

We arrived at Epcot and that's when Kayla took the picture of her and me that is in our intro. We were just so excited to be there. We took B straight to see Mickey and the rest of the Five.

Then we made a quick walkthrough of innovations.
DSC_1499.jpg

Then it was off to The Seas with Nemo & Friends.
DSC_1502.jpg

B liked the little ride. It was one of the few rides he liked really. We had a horrible experience later in the week.

DSC_1505.jpg

He really liked looking at the fish and wanted to stay longer. I didn't want to be late for dinner so I hurried him along.

DSC_1523.jpg

He especially liked these guys.
DSC_1525.jpg

In fact, he got a bit too close.

DSC_1537.jpg

We watched the Crush show too but didn't take any pictures. Not sure how well B liked it. He wanted to sit with me so he didn't sit with the kids.

So we hurried out of there and scurried over to the UK. We checked in and got a pager. We couldn't go far so I didn't explore anywhere. B did see a street vendor a few steps away so he made his first purchase... something he has at least 3 of back home, but my fault for not packing.
He entertained himself for the hour we waited. Our ADR was for 7:15 pm. We checked in right on time, I went ahead and requested to sit on the patio. The friendly Englishman said they would do their best but couldn't make any guarantee, but we could pop up to the patio to watch the fireworks regardless of where we were seated. I loved the way he said "pop" We saw a few people come up a little mad so I'm assuming their adr was late too, but we were fine. Just happy to be there and as long as B was entertained it was fine. I like this picture because the bubble was perfect over his eye.
DSC_1553.jpg

Loving the report!

Great pics and cute little man you got there, can't wait to be able to take my own kids to the greatest place on earth :thumbsup2

We were finally seated and had a really nice young lady from Glasgow. I didn't take pictures of the food but B and I had steak with brie cheese. It was pretty good. I normally smother steak with steak sauce but this was good plain. I don't recall what Kayla had. Something with onion rings because I ate a few. B also got orange juice in a Buzz Lightyear cup. He didn't like the juice and ended up drinking water. He did, however, like the cup.

DSC_1561.jpg

This was our view before it was completely dark. Just beautiful.

DSC_1564.jpg

Some obligate pretty fireworks pictures. We really did have an amazing view.

DSC_1596.jpg

DSC_1631.jpg

Too loud
DSC_1622.jpg

After the fireworks, we finished our food and left. Kayla snapped a pic of the castmembers on our way out.

DSC_1635.jpg

B lit the way to the exit and left a trail of bubbles. A nice man behind us said we had a lot of fans behind us and I told him I'm just crossing my fingers for no enemies. I was worried we were annoying people because that thing really did pump out the bubbles. His comment eased my mind some.

DSC_1636.jpg

At the exit, something caught B's eye. Another "light up things" cart. He decided on a spinny Buzz.

DSC_1642.jpg

Which accompanied us to our next stop.

DSC_1695.jpg

Fantasmic!!! This was B's favorite thing of the whole trip. I had described it to him earlier by asking, "Do you want to see Mickey fight the dragon?" I had only seen brief glimpses of the show on the Disney Planning DVD so thats what I thought it essentially was. It was so much more, as I'm sure you all know. We got there just as the 10:30 show was beginning. The place was still packed but we got seats. We ended up sitting where the reserved Fantasmic Dining packages usually sit. I learned later it normally isn't full on a 10:30 showing unless there are EMH that night. Like I said, B looooved the show. I liked it a lot too.
After that, we went back to the hotel and crashed. We had an early ADR for the morning!

So we got up (too early for my tastes) for a 8:10 am breakfast at Hollywood studios. I considered canceling the reservation the night before but knew I'd regret it later so didn't. We hopped in the car and hurried to Hollywood & Vine. That morning was my first experience going through the ADR line. I was a little afraid I would go to the wrong place but a lady had a sign so it was easy.
I chose this breakfast mostly because B wanted to meet June. I didn't know anything else about it except it was a buffet. I was actually impressed. B mostly ate watermelon and bacon. The watermelon was great. I couldn't believe it came from a buffet. Kayla had an omelet made at the omelet station. I wanted to but I was keeping an eye on B and thought it would take too long. This was my first experience with Mickey Waffles! Yummy! :thumbsup2 I wish I had a couple now.

DSC_1733.jpg

DSC_1738.jpg

The characters slowly came by. That was fine by me because I was hungry. B didn't know who Agent Oso or Handy Manny was but loooves June.

DSC_1728.jpg

DSC_1743.jpg

DSC_1760.jpg

June and Jake really loved B's Ellie Badge. I got it from DMR a year ago but saw some in the park for sale.

After we ate we headed straight to...where else...Toy Story Mania. But the line was already a 60 minute wait so we grabbed fast passes and went to Art of Animation. This is where B found his second favorite thing of the trip. Coloring the characters on the touch screen. Don't know why he thought it was cool. It amused Kayla and me though. Especially because he had a leappad sitting in the car which could do the same thing essentially.

Disney2012170.jpg

After we left the art of animation building, we passed the face painting booth. Kayla and I decided to get one of the designs. I choose the music one because it was purple. B didn't want one.

IMG_4409.jpg

It started pouring right after and we pulled out our ponchos for the first time. We rode the Studio Backlot Tour and it had stopped raining by the time we got off. I really loved seeing how the costumes were made. (Wow I just remembered I loved this vhs called Barbie Birthday Party at Walt Disney World when I was a little girl. It showed them making the costumes for the Barbie of the show there. Hmm, now I want to find a clip. Sorry for the off topic.)

IMG_4410.jpg

IMG_4433.jpg

After that we shopped for a bit in the gift shop we exited to. B got an Avengers jet. Kayla got a R2-D2 pin. Then it was off for Star Tours. I knew nothing about this ride, but I enjoyed it. Ever since then I have really wanted to watch one of the Star Wars movies again. Maybe tonight. Episode 1 was the first movie my parents took me to at the midnight opening. I digress.

IMG_4454.jpg

We headed to Muppets after we escaped the Star Tours gift shop. I never cared for Muppets so B didn't know they existed. He liked the show though so I'll probably rent the new movie. I think this is us waiting for the show.
DSC_1801.jpg

After Muppets we finally got to experience Toy Story Mania! I see why it's so popular. It was the only ride of the entire trip B wanted to immediately ride again. And yes, Kayla smoked us.
DSC_1831.jpg

DSC_1840.jpg

From there, it was straight to Mama Melrose for a late lunch. We had a little trouble finding it and B dropped his R2D2 lemonade. He was tired so got upset about this. He had already said he didn't want the lemonade but regardless, messes upset him. I asked if he wanted another but he said he wanted ice cream. This worked for me since he could get one after his meal at lunch.

We had to wait 10 minutes for our table at MM. I took this time to wipe off my face. It was driving me crazy not being able to touch my face. I saw my only hidden mickeys of the trip while waiting. (In my defense, I always forgot to look)

We had the fantasmic dining package. For anyone interested I'll explain it. It may be the same as the Dining Plan but I've never had it. It was 35.99 per adult, and I don't remember child pricing. We could choose 1 app, 1 entree and we automatically got little cakes to share for the adults. That part confused me. I guess for every 2 adults you get the little cakes. B chose from a separate menu. He got 1 entree and 1 dessert to himself but no app. We all had bread. We all had drinks. Kayla got a latte but no refills. I had a coke and B had milk. We got a green slip to turn in at the first showing of Fantasmic that night. I'll explain that more later.

IMG_4463.jpg

I got the chicken campanelle. No complaints; it was pretty good. Kayla got Mahi Mahi I believe. (Sorry, no pic) I don't remember what she said about it. I know she didn't think it was bad. B got the pizza. Kayla and I got an appetizer together so we could get the Antipasto. Next time I'd go with the salads but it just seemed really good when we were ordering it.

Later... more fun at Hollywood.

Loving the report!

Great pics and cute little man you got there, can't wait to be able to take my own kids to the greatest place on earth :thumbsup2

Thanks! I def love taking him there but I wish I would have experienced it before kids too. So live it up while you can :cool1:

After lunch at Mama Melrose, we went back to our room. We were pleasantly surprised to find lots of zebras and a couple giraffes outside. There were also a lone Ankole...I think...maybe. Well, not really sure that's what it was but you can look at the picture and decide.

DSC_1881.jpg

Kayla snapped some pictures of the animals and B locked her out. He was quite proud of himself and barricaded the glass door with a pillow for good measure. Then he drew the curtains. This is when Kayla got the only picture we have of the lace curtains. She was just snapping pictures of B and got it inadvertently. We didn't realize until later that Lion King characters were on it.

DSC_1860.jpg

I took some pictures of B on the balcony. This one makes me laugh every time I see it.

Disney2012140.jpg

Our original Day 1 plans were to spend about 6 hours at AK. Well, Tropical Storm Beryl squashed those ideas. So we decided we'd head to AK an hour before closing time. We didn't even bother with the stroller. I speed-walked carrying B straight to Dinosaur. I liked it. It was more intense than I expected. B closed his eyes after the Triceratops. Our ride picture cracks me up so much that I bought it. If B is scared he will grab my hand and cover his eyes with it. So that was his doing and not me just being super censor-y.
Photo0048FourBySix.jpg

After Dinosaur we walked back out of the park and stopped to walk through Rainforest Cafe. This was my first time going to AK, and overall it reminded me mostly of our zoo. I obviously didn't fully experience it, but it felt like the zoo with a few rides.

IMG_4495.jpg

IMG_4496.jpg

After that it was straight to Hollywood (How did we end up spending so much time there?) It was 8 pm, and we went straight to Toy Story Mania. We fast-passed it again. I'm proud to say at one point we actually passed Kayla's score. Then B got upset I wasn't really letting him do it. So I reliquished control and she passed us again. I know, I know, his vacation.

We once again speed-walked (sped-walk?) to Fantasmic. Our ticket from the dining package said to be there 30-45 mintues before the 9:00 show started. We were arriving at about 15 till. As we were walking in, we heard the announcement that only standing room was available. I kept walking, hoping they didn't open up the dining package section. We walked up and saw the sign for the dp. Two men directed us to the right, down the path where strollers are stored. The lady at the end of the path took our ticket and we still had plenty of room in the section. We decided to sit a little farther back tonight since the previous night the flames had been hot in the 3rd row. The show was great again. If I was going to the 9:00 show I'd definitely do the dining package again.

Warning, most likely boring to most readers. I'll go ahead and throw in my 2 cents about the seating. You may want to skip this. *Slight Fantasmic Spoilers*
We sat on the far right (dp seating) twice. Although it may seem like the far right and far left should be equidistance from the stage, the far right is closer. So the far right compared to far left, right has better stage/boat view. Left has better animation view due to the straight-on view of the fountain.
Obviously direct middle is closest to the stage/boats and has a great head-on view of the fountain. The boats will also be spotlit as they are in front of the middle section.
Slightly off-center viewing- I think I'd rather be at a far right than off center middle. Although I saw the stage/boats better, the fountains not being directly in front really bothered me. I kept trying to decide between the fountain on the right or left.

The Dining Package section is on the far right.

IMG_4526.jpg

After Fantasmic, we hurried to "color the fish." This caused quite a bit of confusion with the Castmembers. When we first walked in the Animation section we asked if we could still come through. (It was 15 minutes till close) She said she wasn't sure that they may have closed. But we hurried on, then we met another CM, he said," Hurry, they are about to begin. But you have to throw away your drink here" I had just bought a Coke. I was confused but frazzled so I took one more sip of it and obeyed.:confused3

Then we finally reached the door to meet yet another CM. This one said, "Sorry, that class is already full, but you can be the last ones in this other class." (He didn't actually say "this other class" ,but I don't remember the name so I'm paraphrasing.) To this I said, "He just wants to tap on the computer to color the characters in there. Can we do that?" To that, he looked at us a little weirdly and said, "Oh, yeah sure" I had been explaining what we wanted to do to each CM along the way, but I guess they weren't really hearing what I was saying and mostly seeing us hurrying and thought we must be trying to make the last class of the night. So yeah, I threw away my Coke for nothing. But B got to color his fish.:cloud9:

IMG_4531.jpg

On Day 3 we were, once again, up bright and early. We had ADR for Ohana. I had never been to the Poly, and was worried we would be late. I followed the purple signs and was fine. Finding Ohana within the Poly was a different story.

I don't know how but we walked around for a good 10 minutes trying to figure out which way to go. I was speed-walking with B in my arms. Finally I found a CM and he pointed out the way. Whew, we made it. We got our leis and skipped the picture because I knew I wouldn't buy it. I have this thing where if the picture exists then I need it. If it is never taken, I'm fine not having it.

This was my first experience with Ohana and I loved it. It's a buffet where you stay seated. Awesome Idea! I really loved it and it will probably become a must-do every trip. I liked the food, but didn't care for the juice they bring everyone.

It wasn't long before the characters came along. First out, Goofy. B got out of his seat, and Goofy hugged him....and hugged him....and hugged him.
DSC_1915.jpg

DSC_1912.jpg

DSC_1911.jpg

It got a little awkward. I think he was playing a game or something. I was saying things like, "B ask Goofy if he'd like to sign your book." "Okay B say thanks to Goofy." We have about 6 pictures of it because Kayla said she felt so awkward and didn't know what to do so took a picture every 15 seconds or so. I don't think Goofy was waiting for her to take pictures because she would only take one every little bit to have something to do. Finally he let him go, and B didn't get out of his chair for the rest of breakfast.:lmao:

Next up, Mickey! Who gets a hug from B's chair.:thumbsup2

DSC_1901.jpg

Now, the reason I booked Ohana...drumroll please...

DSC_1897.jpg

Stitch!!! B really loved Stitch at this point. B even showed him his Stitch impression. He puts his hands up and curls them over like claws but we didn't catch that part in the picture. And sort of does a yawn/growl Stitch-type thing. The impression was a hit with Stitch.

Then Lilo who B hugged from the safety of the chair.

As we walked back to the car, we got some shots of the beauty that is the Polynesian.
Baby Ducklings!

DSC_1918.jpg

Lizard. Do these island-themed resorts release lizards? Because the only times I saw them on the trip was at the Poly and the Royal Pacific at Universal. And we saw them in droves at both.
DSC_1919.jpg

Next up: We finally make it to Magic Kingdom!!!

Thanks! I def love taking him there but I wish I would have experienced it before kids too. So live it up while you can :cool1:

Ahhh, but when kids get older and can experience ALL of the rides so it makes for a perfect vacation.

I'm in, btw! It's a really fun report. I can't wait to get your comparison between Universal's Royal Pacific and Disney's Polynesian.

Thanks! I def love taking him there but I wish I would have experienced it before kids too. So live it up while you can :cool1:

Definitely will! Can't wait to take my own kids though! Bet seeing his excitement makes it worthwhile ;)

Im in :3dglasses

Look like you had lots of fun, were taking our toddlers for their second visit in November, really can't wait now :)

After our breakfast at Ohana, we drove to Magic Kingdom. I can't remember why we decided to do that instead of taking the monorail. We then took the boat. B didn't think much about the boat. I thought he would be excited but maybe it was too big to seem boaty:confused3
DSC_1926.jpg

I really wanted to see the Avengers monorail but it was MIA. Kayla and I started wondering if it was already gone.
DSC_1925.jpg

Our first view of the Castle!
DSC_1924.jpg

We saw these smartly dressed guys and gals dancing down Main Street to which Kayla dreamily said, "I love Disney World."
DSC_1934.jpg

We didn't have any plans here so we just started walking.

We headed to a PhotoPass Photographer in front of the castle. Sorry I'll have to keep you in suspense on that because the CD still hasn't arrived.

But here is one Kayla took.
DSC_1942.jpg

We ended up walking to the Magic Carpet ride because B likes Aladdin. We stayed in line till we would have gone next, then B got scared and we had to walk backwards thru the line.

DSC_1946.jpg

We headed to Pirates OTC. B was a little scared at first but I assured him it wasn't at all scary. I was amazed how real Jack looks. Sorry, we didn't get any pictures except this one.
DSC_1949.jpg

We exited through the gift shop unscathed. I almost bought a shirt of Jack tthat read "I whip me locks to and fro." I lol'd at that one.

We continued to the Jungle Cruise. This wasn't really a hit with anyone in our group. Maybe we were tired, or maybe we had amazing animals outside our window at the resort so this was underwhelming. Regardless, I like this picture. We have since bought the Disneyland Kinect game. One of our favorites is the jungle cruise ride and those gorillas are a thorn in my side.
DSC_1954.jpg

We just decided to walk around after that. Straight into a parade.
DSC_1962.jpg

DSC_1972.jpg

Woody is favorite. B was Woody this last Halloween. (This was the first year he chose to be someone specific. Any other year it was a pumpkin, a golfer, etc. Although the year he was a golfer he was having a moment and refused to put on his pants for the party. Someone asked what he was and I told them a golfer, but he won't leave his pants on. They replied, "Oh, so Tiger Woods." Sorry for the OT but I thought I'd share.)
DSC_1981.jpg

Kayla snapped this pic of the parasols because she still has her mini one from childhood.

Annnnndddd, B is out. Our ADR for Crystal Palace was 45 minutes away, so I just sat and watched the people. I think Kayla walked off to check out Casey's.
DSC_1986.jpg

Definitely will! Can't wait to take my own kids though! Bet seeing his excitement makes it worthwhile ;)
Absolutely! Seeing him jump up and down with excitement is one of my favorite things in the world. :cloud9:

Ahhh, but when kids get older and can experience ALL of the rides so it makes for a perfect vacation.
I hope he'll enjoy coasters. I'm the only one in my family that does. Would you believe my brother and mom have never be on ToT? :confused3

Look like you had lots of fun, were taking our toddlers for their second visit in November, really can't wait now :)

I'm hoping to return in November too. I get most excited (and hungry!) for WDW while reading TR's. ;)

Sorry for the hiatus. B tried to plug in my laptop and smushed the power jack. The repair would cost what I paid for the laptop. So I just salvaged the hard drive and plan on buying a new one on BF. On a happy note, B went to the doctor today and chose Mickey as his sticker. I was proud. He passed his  and :listen: tests. (It was just a well-child but I honestly just wanted to use those smiles. I only think of this when I see it. Well, the actual animal but didn't want to offend anyone.)
windsor-mouse-2.jpg

We walked over to Crystal Palace for our lunch ADR and the porch was packed. As in standing room only, despite many benches. I'd hate to see this place during peak season. We checked in, got our buzzer and walked to the side of the porch. Less than 5 minutes went by before I heard a man weaving through the crowd calling my name. He reached me and said our table was ready. Our buzzer was broken apparently. Kayla commented this was the first time we got in at our actual ADR time. :thumbsup2

B doesn't know anything about Winne the Pooh and was a bit afraid/excited. He latched onto me.

Yummy ice cream.

DSC_2019-1.jpg

Not the best pic but I was attempting to lean out of the picture. Which mostly resulted in 4 pictures where I am there but just looking all awkward penguin.

DSC_2038-1.jpg

I liked the food at CP. I tried ratatouille (just googled that, and holy crap got the spelling right :3dglasses :offtopic: B just started saying "holy craps". I didn't think I said anything I didn't want B to say but that phrase just doesn't sound right in his sweet voice.) and loved it. Perhaps it is just because I wanted to love it. I plan on trying it at Narcoossee's next time. (Now there's a crazy word I can remember because it reminds me of my home, Tennessee. Just keep doubling the letters, baby :thumbsup2 )

Our original plan was to leave after lunch because we were beat. However, after the unlimited coke and hour of relaxation, we were good as new. I decided to lead us to Snow White since it was the day before its last. We caught a few minutes of the show.

Pretty topiary.

First time and last time :(
DSC_2053-1.jpg

Kayla and I spent our entire time in line looking for hidden mickey's in the mural. No luck.
DSC_2055-1.jpg

B was a little scared on the ride but not too bad. He is fine as long as he can cuddle next to me. Next we wondered around and wound up on the Stitch ride. Now let me say this is my huge mistake. Most every ride we rode I had youtubed previously. Not this one. I assumed (you know what they say) that a Stitch ride would be fairly tame.
We got in and the separate seats were a major problem. I was turned to B making sure he didn't get his neck trapped or anything horrible as the restraints came down. Since I was turned to my left, my right shoulder didn't hit the restraint to stop it. It painfully smashed the left shoulder. B started telling me he was ready to go. I didn't know what to do. I had no idea what the ride entailed or I would have somehow got out of the restraints and left. (I was afraid the ride might start spinning or something) B started crying and shaking and we both just wanted to get out of there. I kept trying to comfort him saying nothing would hurt him and it was just pretend. The ride seemed to last forever and I was almost in tears. I fiercely hate that ride now. It wasn't just me that the restraint hurt. I heard a lady a few people down screaming every time the restraints pushed down.

Whew, we finally got off. B was fine the second he got in my arms but I felt so horrible and guilty. I asked him if he wanted to go get a toy and he mentioned some lego toy. We decided to go to DTD.

He fell asleep in the car so Kayla and I strolled him around while we shopped. We decided to get a drink. Kayla went down the steps to a little stand. I couldn't easily get down the steps with the stroller so I left to find somewhere to sit. Kayla came back with one margarita. The lady wouldn't give her more than one drink because she saw me with her. I'd be okay with this if the sign said one drink per customer but it says two. Just seemed like she was trying to get a power trip. Anyway, I left Kayla with sleeping B and went to get another margarita. I honestly didn't want one anymore but just wanted to show the chick my ID without just walking up and showing it to her. Which seems stupid now because who wants to prove they are older, but it was just the principle.

B woke up and we went to the lego store.

Wanna guess where we ended the night?

Same as every other night. Fantasmic!! (That's one exclamation included in the title name and one because it's awesome!)
We had planned on seeing Wishes but B really wanted to see this again. My mom was on the phone with me earlier in the day and said I HAD to let him see Tinkerbell fly over the castle. lol like I was keeping him from it. I said I wanted to but he didn't sooo... Fantasmic it was. If we end up going in November I'm sure he'll see it because Fantasmic is at 6:30 every night and Wishes is at 10.

We had an hour before show time so we stopped by the Sweet shop. We got 4 chocolate-covered strawberries and B got a mini M&M covered Mickey rice krispy treat. I tried to talk B into a Jack Skeleton apple because he has a Jack crochet hat. He wasn't interested. The young CM acted like it was the craziest thing he had ever heard.

After the show we shopped for a bit. B ended up getting a set of Toy Story characters and a bucket full of soldiers??? I think that's what it's called. Those Army Men were $15+. Geez I could find them in the dollar bins at walmart. I saw a Mickey Rice Krispy Treat at the check out and grabbed it for my mom. I hadn't been able to find anything for her despite looking. I bought my dad a cap at DTD and planned on waiting for Universal for my brother.

I was dead when we got back to Kidani, and begrudgingly set my alarm for 5:30 am. I planned on packing up that night but just couldn't do it.
