Just popping on for a minute...didn't sleep last night waiting on today's presentation when suddenly about 10am the meeting was rescheduled to Wednesday. Guess I will have another sleepless night tomorrow. I better get to bed early tonight and rest up.

I did snag a little something to put in my daughters' goody bags for the trip. I found some disposable cameras (27 exposures with a flash) at Office Depot in a bin for $2.50. I'm giving each of them one. I think it will be neat to see what they photograph. Thought we might make some mini scrapbooks of their pics when we get back home. Should be fun.

Is your oldest tall enough to ride most of the rides? My youngest will probably be 16 before she can ride on a roller coaster. She is very petite for a 3.5 year old - 25 lbs. and 35 inches tall. We do a whole lot of baby swap.
Oldest can ride the major attractions twice that way. She loves it.

LOL this sounds like Connor. He will turn four in late August and he is only 36" tall. He is pretty sturdy though.

I made a birthday cake for the little boy across the street's birthday party. This is my first time doing this one and it didn't turn out as well as I would have like. What do you think?? Think it's okay to take over there? My kids like it. I just don't want the little boy to be disappointed.

Our kids are complete opposites looks and all. ODD look ust like hubby dark hair,skin etc. Also has his personality. She is more reserved, analytical and observant. When she is in a situation that is overwheming to her she will remove herself and happily play alone. The little one is just like me-blonde and blue. Has more of my personality though my mom has fianlly admitted that I was not this "wild" We call her the hurricane. She is the life of every party-loves everyone and takes the world by storm. She is extremely independent and spends much time on the "thinking chair"

It is a challenge to parent them in different ways but remain fair. They are so different that the same things do not work.

Sorry to ramble on and on.....

This sounds just like my grandsons. My daughter often says they are ying and yang... sometimes they are more like oil and water lol.

As for favorites, I'm not sure yet as we have only been there once and unfortunstely didn't accomplish a whole lot. I know we will be riding: Pooh, Peter Pan, Barnstormer, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Jungle cruise, the train and Buzz for sure, and more than once. lol

I just wish Connor was big enough for roller coasters. In sept. he cried when he couldn't ride EE.

Hi everybody. I'm at work at lunch and I'm spending my time on the DIS trying to relax before the big presentation. I do have some good news though. I got a call this morning from a company about 25 minutes from home wanting me to come in for an interview. The HR rep said that she had 113 resumes and had narrowed it down to 15. She did phone interview with me and said that she would like me to be one of the 5 to come in next week for an onsite interview. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about that. DH has a work event that starts in about an hour. Was going to take the kiddos to my mom's. I was literally pulling out of our driveway when the phone rang and my Dad is telling me that my mom has taken a really bad fall and they are on their way to the emergency room. Thank goodness she is going to be okay but she looks like Rocky Balboa. They live about an hour and fifteen minutes away so that's where I have been.

I will try to post some cute pics this weekend. I have cookie booths tomorrow morning and a cake to make for a birthday party on Sunday. Busy weekend again. The good news is that in two days my project I've been working on has saved my company $33k. I wish that would motivate them to give me back my original salary.

So sorry about your mom. Glad she is going to be ok!! Maybe you should start a cake business on the side?? How that is a lot of $$-they should at least give you a bonus.

Hi everyone! I'm happy to report that Mom is really sore but the CT scan isn't showing any fractures or bleeding. HOORAY! We had a busy weekend around here. Here is this weekend's project.

I received my package of postcards from my brother on Saturday. He lives in Orlando. I fill them out send to him and he sends them from Orlando to the kiddos. He sent me these:

I'm going to fill out the Tinkerbell for my youngest and one of the princesses for my oldest. I will be filling out a Mickey for bertegirl and the rest are open. If any of my readers are interested let me know. There are several extras. You can PM me your address. We did this last year and the girls thought they were so special because Mickey and the princesses sent them a special message.

I did this earlier in the week on MaryAZ's pre-trippie but I should make it official on my own thread. My oldest daughter's name is Lindsey and the youngest is Josie. There, I feel much better now. Hope everyone had a good weekend! Another busy week ahead but I will try to post. On Tuesday I'm getting a new hairdo. I'm excited and scared. I usually wear my hair up because of the type of work I do. I really need a change though. I'm off to look for some cute hair do's.
