I am getting really, really excited about this trip!!! Tonight we had our usual Girl Scout Meeting (I drove the Jeep with the top and doors off-SO FUN) and then I came home, made some Mickey pizzas and we watched the Disney Cruise Line video. I really think Joe is starting to warm up to the whole thing. It was his idea to watch the video!
He went out today and bought some shorts for our trip that look like they were made this decade too. I am in shock! Is he possessed or what? Did someone steal my husband's body???
Actually, his interest in our trip and the planning makes me very, very happy!
On a side note, I have a ton of work to get done between now and Friday. I ran an ad for my yard sale so I better get crackin' and get some stuff tagged.

I don't think Joe would blame me but he said he would fire me as the planner if we have a bad time....I guess that is kind of the same thing.Dallas and I are watching the planning video as I type. We will watch it again tonight. I don't really want to go on a cruise. We have a cruise ship that leaves from here every Thursday and returns on Sunday. I am claustrophobic so I don't think I would like the idea of being confined to the ship. I know the ships are HUGE, but in my mind it would get really small as soon as I knew I couldn't get off............
Dale loves Disney as much as I do, but he doesn't get into the planning. I try to drag him into the planning and he just says you do it and we will go.....But he fools NO ONE, see Dale is the type person that would rather point a finger and say "See what you did" than say "OMG I MESSED UP" That way if something goes wrong it isn't his fault......

I used to dress him and he wouldn't wear anything that was trendy. Yesterday he came home with some really cool shorts that weren't denim or khaki. He said "What do you think of these" - I almost fell over. I agree. Joe has similar issues-Carharts and Levi's. Maybe we could start a thread on the tacky things our DH's wear. That could be fun..I pick out Danny's clothes, too! I tried to get him to wear plaid shorts to go with his two disney t-shirts I had bought for him. Just going to have to stick w/the relaxed jean shorts. Simple, traditional, clothing... my biggest problem w/him right now is he wants to tuck in EVERYTHING ...

His cousin went on one in February and he just raved about it!! How funny about the shorts! . Oh but Dana can wash while we are there . Sorry you don't think you'd like cruising. I can understand why though. Everybody seems to love it so I think its worth a try. I defintely do have claustrophobic issues though. I'm thinking we will try a land/sea package. Short trip to see if we would like cruising. I want to see other things and not sit on a plane for 7 hours...remember I'm a chicken when it comes to flying.

2.Dole Whip Meet at MK 8pm at Aloha Isle to buy a Dole Whip and watch Spectro !!

As Rosie says below the meet is at 8pm at Aloha Isle, then we will be finding a spot for Spectro and the fireworks. I think this will be a great way to start out our trip.
BTW, I think we are going back to MK on the 17th for EMH. Maybe we can meet up with you guys and Pam and her crew. Joe wants to have a very special birthday and try out EMH to see if it would be worth giving up a rope drop.
