We're going back and have questions

Hi all! about 5 years after our first Disney Cruise My best friend and I are going back for our second! In researching this trip we've come acrost a few questions for anyone especially recent cruisers.

1)What is the "Soda Card" Concept? I might be showing my age here(soon to be 22) but I have no idea on this. I think it has something to do with paying for things on the ship but I could be wrong.

2) Sara and I have ALWAYS been in Orlando in June, July or August. Now were are going in January. We looked up the average temps (Which look beautiful compared to Minnesota at that time of year) but was wondering what do others pack for winter trips?

Hope I can help....The Soda mugs program is basically a way to get unlimited soda/pop on board during your cruise. You get either a mug or sometimes a sticker and pay one price for it, then you can refill it at anytime. If you dont drink a bunch of soda this isnt worth it. You can still get free soda at meal times.

Weather in Janurary and packing...I recommend you take a lite jacket for the evenings..and sometimes daytimes. Its so much better than most of the usa but you will still have some cold weather....castaway key I have heard the water is rather chilly this time of year.
