Well, after some serious begging and cajoling I have convinced my husband we need a vacation, so we are officially going back to WDW and on DCL in January!! I am really happy in that I do not have to wait too long for this trip to come. I have planned in the past over a year out and the waiting is tough, but now I only have a few months to wait! I am pulling DS out of school (he is in Gr 1) and I personally do not have an issue with that. Hopefully his teacher won't either! 
So - here's the itinerary:
Fly down to MCO via AirTran (good deal $495 for the 3 of us, nonstop BUF-MCO
)
Wed Jan 21 - Sat Jan 24 - stay at Boardwalk Villas studio using DVC Points
Sat Jan 24-Sat Jan 31 - DCL Western Cat 12 GTY - hoping to upgrade a Port - fingers crossed!
Sat Jan 31 - Tues Feb 3 - stay at Beach Club Villas studio on points again.
I am happy because we get a few days in the Parks before and after. I plan on buying the 3 day base MYW using Airmiles and then upgrading to 5 or more day Hoppers when we are there (after using them once). I figure it is a good use of Airmiles and cash combo - we'll see!
We are also happy about the Western because we have done the Eastern before and really enjoyed it but wanted to try something new. We have never stayed in an inside stateroom before, but we are trying to do this trip as cheaply as possible so we'll see how that goes. Like I said, I am hoping to upgrade at the Port but if it doesn't happen then we'll live.
So, I am officially doing the Happy Dance Again!!!!!!!!
