Hi Katie! Sorry that I got so far behind on your PTR...but I caught up now!
I loved the photos of DOI...I really want to go someday! It was in a town about an hour away this past March. I kept asking my nephew if he wanted to go to that and he said yes...well, somehow I missed the dates. Luckily, he was able to go with his mom so he got to see it! But I missed it this year! I think my son will enjoy it more when he's a little older...I can't wait to take him and both of my nephews! That would be fun!
I absolutely LOVE your binder!!! I think my favorite part was the paper/ribbon on the divider sheets! I have those planning sheets that you used & they are super helpful!!! Don't you just love that ultimate packing list?!? I printed it out for a friend & they thought I was insane...but I used it for myself & think its great!
Can't wait to see pics of Imagination Movers!!! They were in OH and we were planning to go since its only about an hour or so drive...but they said that no one under age 3 is allowed in that theater. My son was upset...its one of the only shows he watches that keeps his attention the entire show. He also talks "to" the Movers & Warehouse Mouse when its on tv. Its so cute to watch him interact with the tv! I'm just really hoping that they decide to tour again within the next 2 years, so I can take him!
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your planning binder & reading about your trip!!!
That's ok!!! We all get so busy...it is fine

You would really love DOI if it ever comes your way!! I think the quality of the show is very similar to what you get at WDW!

I know what you mean about the Ultimate Packing List!! My friend asked me for one, but I just knew she would think I was an OCD nut if I gave it to her! So, I modified it
That is SO crazy that they did not let in anyone under three

Isn't that their best audience? The IM tape their show, and are from the a city about 40 minutes away from here. They were offering tickets to hometown people for free because they are taping the concert for Disney Channel

Are seats are not very good, but they were FREE!!
Thanks so much for reading and commenting
Adorable binder Katie! There's nothing better than a new trip binder!! SO exciting!
I AGREE!! I just love new trip binders...it makes the trip so real! Thanks so much
I will -- I think that will be my weekend project!
LOL

Break out the glue gun!!!!
We picked up some of that stuff, I'm amazed at how well it works! He doesn't even try to bite/chew my laptop wire now! Only problem is that he
really likes pants, so it's hard to get him to stop chewing on our pants. Can't very well bath ourselves in the anti-chew stuff

He'll learn though
LOL! Pants...that is so funny
Yes, he will learn, he is just a little pup!
It's true! I'm thinking about a short December trip and I keep thinking, "I can go see the Santas around the World Showcase, maybe I can squeeze in the Candlelight Processional...oh, but I want to see the Castle all lit up. Hmm, but then I also need to see the lights at HS." I mention it to my boyfriend and he looks at me like I have two heads! At least there are sane people here on the DIS to share with!
Hope you don't mind, I'm coming over to your TR too
LOL! I think my husband was excited, but then realized it was just May and kind of looked at me strange. Once I told him ADRs were made 180 days, it kind of made it better---maybe that is why they changed it

We ARE more sane than regular people! LOL.
Sara's TR will be so fun! Can't wait to read it!
I didn't have time yesterday to look thru your journal more. Love the awesome binder! I always think that I want to do cool things like that but then I run out of time.
My fantasy is to spend Christmas at Disney. Crowds and all! I'll live vicariously.
Amanda
Thank you for coming back to read, Amanda

The binder took no time at all! Really. Just hot glue gun, ribbon and scrapbook paper! We are crossing our fingers for low crowds on our dates (dec 11-16) BUT I would like to attempt a real Christmas at Disney one year...and maybe a New Year too! When the kids get older, I guess

I am going to really have a hard time not going every year during Christmastime
Isn't Angela your TA too? I thought the cruise dates were different ones than what we were eying. I am debating on the trip too...I know the one in May will be the family trip, our last bigger vacation before I start my PhD. DH and I are going to take an adults only weekend trip to somewhere closer, probably a B&B in a favorite location of ours. I really want to go on the cruise--we love

going on cruises but have not been on one with DD yet. It will be either the cruise with a short park stay too or the cruise only. The park stay will depend on the BB offer we get when we go in September.
I need to get cracking on finishing my trip binder. I have so much saved on my computer, but not a lot printed out yet.
Well, my graduation date is May 14, 2011. I need at least a week to pack and the kids will still be in school. So---here are our 3 options.
1) 1/2 Poly stay (water parks, MK, etc) and 3 night cruise with the kids
2) Longer cruise only with the kids too
3) Adult only 100% Poly stay
For the adults only, we would leave right after graduation, like the 15th or 16th while the kids were still in school. For the cruise, we would do the later cruise (in the 20s of May some time).
Angela is my TA!!! Isn't she great

You and your DH will love a little time away to celebrate
PLEASE post pics of your binder when you are done. I just love binders
