We're Dreaming of a WL Christmas! DEC 2010 INTERACTIVE PTR NEW: 12/9 BYE-BYE!

Love your binder! It's so cute!

Thank you :goodvibes How is the cutest puppy ever?

I bought those same stickers for my countdown calendar! :thumbsup2

Everything with the binder looks great--pretty exciting stuff to start filling it with information!

I loved them! The quality was really good, I thought :thumbsup2 GREAT idea to use it on the calendar!

It is sooo exciting! I just love binders and notebooks ;)

I  your binder. It is soooooo cute. What a great idea! I wish I could get that organized.

I still have 4 weeks before we leave so we'll see what I can do! Did you make the packing list or did you find it on the Dis? That would be great to have.

Erika

When are you thinking of taking a cruise--next May? So are we! My graduation is May 15th, so we are looking at either the Sunday, May 22nd sailing (4 night) or Sunday, May 29th (5 night). :goodvibes:

Love the binder. :) Are you making a new one for each trip?

Thank you Erika!! It was not too hard so far. Just took a night to put together the binder physically and research on the Creative DISigns board! You could totally get it together!!

This is the best thread---

Just simply copy and paste the pages you want onto Word. It is much easier than saving and printing. Let me know how it goes :goodvibes

AHH that is exactly when we would go  We are going back and forth between an adults only Poly trip or the cruise with the kids...I don't know if I could ever leave them behind  BUT it would be awesome to tour without strollers. I will let you know!! My Travel Agent is running a GREAT deal for cruises right now. Her company got a large amount of rooms at very big discounts from what I understand. It is tempting for sure

YES! I make a binder for each trip. I love to look back and see what we did.

Love your binder Katie - it looks so festive and fun!

On the hidden Mickey's, I had a book that I had purchased before we went to DL, but then we never did use it. :headache: I haven't bought one for WDW because I'm just not sure we'd take the time out each day to look for them. I love seeing the ones other people have found though! The one's on the Christmas carousel and gazebo were just little gold Mickey head stamps hidden around the display. There was a sign next to the display that told all the ingredients that went into making the design and at the bottom it had a little note that challenged you find 'x' number of hidden Mickey's - it was fun trying to find them all!

Thank you! It is getting me in the Christmas mood :santa:

I think I am going to purchase the WDW Hidden Mickeys book from the bookstore and flip through it. I pointed out a few to my DD last trip, and she was obsessed with finding them! I think if I picked out a few fun ones, I could point them out to her along the way.

We have the Hidden Mickey's book but forgot to use it on our last trip. I'm hoping we get to use it this time!

WOW! :scared1: Awesome job on the binder. I love it!! How long did it take you to make that? I would love to make one but I don't know if I'd remember to bring it around with me.

Thank you!! Ohhh chocolate moose...sounds amazing  I am so thrilled...hope we can get Le Cellier!! You will LOVE LOVE WC!! Even better if you are staying there...it is so fun! We love LTT and can't wait to eat there again!

As far as Starring Rolls go, I am going to post a review from Disney Food blog that made me want to try it! Soooo good!

I WOULD DIE to see Wizard of Oz on ice!! We love WofOz! Seems like you have seen many DOIs! This is my first, we really enjoyed it!!

I can't wait to read the blog! Yeah we went to see Wizard of Oz when I was 12 I think. I have never seen any other ice show since then since Disney on Ice so maybe Disney is the only one who does it now. I hope you get to see many more!

I love your binder. I use a binder to but mine isn't pretty like yours - it's the same one I started for our 2004 trip and I've just updated it every trip since with tons of planning materials - I do replace with current information but it's funny that the same meals and rides we picked on previous trips to try in the future are what we are now choosing to do - I love it when it all comes together in the end.

OH that sounds PERFECT!! Now that you said Hidden Mickeys, do you have a good Hidden Mickey book that you use? My DD was really interested in finding them last time, so I thought we would try harder this year to research. Thanks for the advice! Your the pro :thumbsup2

We have the yellow book by Steven Barrett; Tyler got it before our trips in 2008. We didn't use it every day but we had read it ahead of time so knew general areas to look. I plan to take it again this year, it's small and doesn't take up much room in my bag but first we've lent it to a co-worker of mine who is going in August.

Oh my goodness, that is a very cool binder! :worship: I am not crafty at all, and end up just using the passporter...:rolleyes1

:welcome: I am so happy you are here!! What resorts are you including in your tour?? We are doing something similar one day..def.going to the Grand Floridian to look at the Gingerbread House..but not sure where else:confused3

We were originally thinking Wilderness Lodge, the Contemporary Resort, the Grand Floridian, and the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I forget where I read that CR had good decorations. Most of these are close and have transportation to/from each other which makes it easy. After reading one of the replies to your PTR, now I'm trying to come up with an easy way to work the Beach Club/Boardwalk area in. Maybe we'll do that area on a different day.

The binder looks great! :)

Thank you!! Not long AT ALL. Maybe an hour or two?? I just bought a bunch of scrapbook paper from hobby lobby and ribbon. That is all it is! I made the cover paper on Word and just hot glued ribbon around it! Creative DISigns board has some awesome free things (like the park information sheet). Let me know if you want the link!

HAHA I brought my first one with me to the parks in 08. It was a pain to keep up with---even though it had a strap. I just leave it in the room and look at it at night to remember everything :goodvibes

I hope so too :goodvibes

Awww thank you :lovestruc I like the idea of changing out current information! It is nice to have all of the info at your fingertips.

Ok great! I will look for it when I go to the bookstore tomorrow! I agree, my kids are too young to use it all the time, I am just going to pick out some fun ones in Fantasyland or Epcot to point out to them when we get there.

Oh good! I can just highlight it and slip it into my purse. Thank you so much!

LOL!! Thank you so much! I am sure passporter does the job ;)

Ohhh I am interested in knowing what is at the Contemporary. I have not researched the resorts yet! YES! I hear Beach Club is worth a trip over! A lot like the Grand Floridian from what I have seen in pictures.

Sure, you can give me the link! I'll check it out. Good idea about leaving it in the room and looking at it at night. But I'm usually so beat after a day in the parks. I'll have to mull this one over.

The binder is so awesome! You could totally add pictures and stuff to it after the trip and kind of incorporate it all together like a scrapbook. (planning it, then showing how you lived it out, so to speak )

WHAT AN AMAZING IDEA!!! Thank you so much--I love it! I am even more excited now :goodvibes
