We're Dreaming of a WL Christmas! DEC 2010 INTERACTIVE PTR NEW: 12/9 BYE-BYE!

Those ADRs look wonderful! I kept waffling on doing the Candlelight Processional but I worry about taking a 16 month old. She is good during church, but mass is not that late at night. Hopefully I can peer in as we walk by. Do you know when they announce who will be reading each night?

As for my favorite place to eat? Right now it's Kona, hands down!! Their tuna oscar is AWESOME and we had great service there. It was not overly crowded and we really just enjoyed the ambiance.

HI!!! How did your cake tasting go?? What did you pick?? I love wedding cakes :goodvibes

I have voted for Le Cellier against my DH's wishes. HEHE He said "I have been trying to go back there for 11 years"(he went during his high school trip). I told him not during the holidays...maybe for our "tropical" May trip!

That is so funny---our #1 and #2 are the same! I LOVE Ohana...have yet to find something I liked more. I might replace it with LC if I love it, but I just fell for the awesome atmosphere. I have to ask, do you like Breakfast or Lunch/Dinner at Crystal Palace? I want to book it for our next holiday trip, but I hear it is so fun to be some of the first people in the park!

Thanks for your advice

The cake tasting went really well! Thanks for asking! :goodvibes The baker made a huge cake for us to try so now I'll be eating off of it for a week at least! We're planning on a 5 tier, round, with alternating tiers of lemon cake with raspberry filling and chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling! :thumbsup2

So far, I've only been to CP for lunch but I'm dying to try breakfast there - gotta get some of that famous french toast! The lunch was great though - they have a lot of good variety and you can't beat the location! Although a before park opening breakfast ADR is at the top of my list for the future!

And I think your final ADR list looks great! I'm glad Le Cellier won, and I can't wait to hear what you think about lunch at CRT. :yay:

:thumbsup2 for your choices. I'm waiting to hear about your CS choices. That's always a hard one for us for some reason. :confused3

We do have many favorite CS after our last trip. I should post on that very soon! They are much harder than ADRs in my opinion!

Sounds great!!! You are seriously going to love Le Cellier.

Ohhh I am SOOO excited about LC!

Great choices!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks!! I am very happy with my little list!

For Pizza Planet, I haven't been there in ages. I know a lot of people knock Disney pizza, but I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be. If your kids are into Toy Story, they'll love Pizza Planet. Plus it has A/C :)

Yea. We do not think that the pizza is that bad. I mean, it is not GREAT but it is not bad by any means. I think we will use Pizza Planet if it is raining or too hot to eat outside.

Great choices, Katie! All of those look fantastic!!:goodvibes

Sara

Thanks Sara! I can't wait!

Sounds great!

Thanks!! I am very happy with our list!

Looks like a great list of ADRs. The only place we've eaten at out of those is WCC. :rolleyes1

OH then I hope that I can give you a good report of the others. We love WCC though! Great first dinner at Disney, I think :thumbsup2

Awesome choices!! Fingers crossed you'll get the times you want!!

Me too!! Really nervous about the LeCellier CP package

Yes, 16 months is young. And it depends on the child. I am sure you will still have a good experience just walking in.

I have heard awesome things about Kona! My hubby and I will eat there on our May trip :cloud9: Can't wait!!

Ohhh I love different layers like that!!! Sounds delish!

I think the breakfast at CP will be so good. You are right about the location. It is ideal. Also, how great to have an empty Main Street!

Thanks! I love my list too. Dying to try LC..little nervous about CRT lunch. We are paying OOP so I hope it is good!

Just looking at your ADR's makes my stomach growl and can't wait for WDW in Sept!!!!

HAHA I know, right? A good excuse to eat all day long when you are in Disney~!

Those look great, Katie! They are similar to what I want to do in Dec! Only we won't do both WCC and Ohana...I will have to choose between them!!! I'm not sure which one I'd rather try! :confused3

Well, if you have never been before--I would go with Ohana!! It is an amazing dining experience IMO. WC is great, but Ohana beats it by a hair in my book ;)

Did you get your dates figrued out?

No, not yet. Either the 30-5th or the 12-18. Having trouble deciding! I need to figure it out soon so I can make ADRS!!!!!

Your ADRs look GREAT!! The Le Cellier CP package also makes me nervous! I wish they'd tell us when you could book! Uggh! Guess what I just read though?! That Steven Curtis Chapman recently posted his own dates for the processional! His website states that he will be at the Candlelight Processional from 12/12/2010 to 12/15/2010!!! I would LOVE to see him narrate (I'm sure he would sing along, too)!! :lovestruc Here's the link: http://www.stevencurtischapman.com/touring.php. Scroll down to see the dates for CP!!!

Hmm...hard decision. YES! You need to pick soon bc your ADRs are coming up! I really, really wanted to go the week after Thanksgiving, but it looks like our week will be light with crowds as well! Can't wait to see what you pick:goodvibes

UGH I know what you mean! Becky---I had a nightmare about the CP package lastnight! haha. We ended up eating at McDonalds (even though there is none in Epcot). haha! Everyone in my family was mad at me...ahh it was crazy! Like you said, I wish they would just release it. Angela said it was OCTOBER last year :scared1:

I am soooooo pumped about Stephen Curtis Chapman!! I was nervous as to who we would get...I have heard if you have a bad narrator, the show is not as powerful. I think SCC will do wonderful! Can't wait to see who you guys get!!!

Christmas trip to WL, sounds like fun!

Thank you!!! The WL is perfect for Christmas :santa:

WOW! What are your December dates??

Your ADRs look wonderful!!! I want to try all of those places? Are you on Deluxe Dining?? That is so many TS restaurants! Just love it :lovestruc

I am especially eager to read about San Angel, California Grill and Chefs!! Yummy! Hope we are there at the same time!

YAY!!!!! I am so super excited to plan together! You know I will be anxiously following your Dec trip on facebook. I have a few ADR time changes I want to run by you later on. Off to catch up on your PTR!

Yum! I don't think you'll get hungry!

HAHA great point! I starting thinking that we were going to be super stuffed! But, we eat poptarts for breakfast in the room and light lunches (sandwiches, etc) it should not be too bad....only gain 10 pounds or so :lmao:

We are Dec 11- 17 and yes we're on the Deluxe Dining! In 2011 DD will start private school so this is our last big blow out trip- we'll still be coming every year but won't be staying or eating Deluxe! Oh well it's all good when you are at Disney! :thumbsup2

Katie:

You have some great dining choices! LTT is one of our favorite restaurants. We have done it with and without characters and loved it every time. The food is wonderful.

Erika

I know! I have read some not so good views (on service) but we are the type of people that like to linger and eat a while, so it is not a big deal. We really love LTT and are looking forward to eating there again! We got lucky in January because Crystal Palace was closed, they brought all of the characters back to LTT. It was so great!! Loved Minnie in her colonial dress :lovestruc Glad you and your family like it so much!

I felt like we ate at so many good CS last trip!! I have a few favorites that we are going to stop in and at least get a snack for the atmosphere. I think Disney is doing a much better job at beefing up their CS. They have some things to fix, but we had no problem with eating the CS Dining plan and we were very satisfied :thumbsup2

I loved Liberty Tree. It was my son's VERY FIRST character experience and b/c of that, it will always be at the top of my list. But the food is really good, too! I just wish they still had the characters there all the time b/c the combo of good food and characters couldn't be beat.

I agree!! It was amazing with characters!! I do not understand why they took them away :confused3 It does not conflict with the characters at CRT or CP. I just loved the characters at LTT and their beautiful costumes! It just felt right with the atmosphere. I am happy that I have another LTT lover here!! :thumbsup2
