We're Dreaming of a WL Christmas! DEC 2010 INTERACTIVE PTR NEW: 12/9 BYE-BYE!

Yay! :yay: Glad I could be of some help... I do love the online ADR system! .. if you click on 'My Reservations' along the top of the website, it has a list of all the ADRs you've made :goodvibes
I've added an 'engagement' celebration to all of our reservations.. not sure if we'll get any extra pixie dust but I can try!

The CLP Dining packages should be available in July/August apparently.. that's when the list of celebrity narrators is announced :santa:

Just 6 months to wait now :rolleyes1 hehe

Emma princess: x

You should get lots of cool things for your engagement addition!! I know the date that we are going to the CP, Stephen Curtis Chapman is the Narrator!! He announced it on his website (he is sooo good) :thumbsup2 We are going on the 12th, but looks like he will be there for 3-4 days :woohoo:

Imagination Movers looks like it was a lot of fun! How cool that you got to meet two celebrities! Let us know for sure when it airs...would love to see it!

My DS loves the Imagination Movers! How fun!:woohoo: I used to wait tables at a pretty popular restaurant in downtown Hartford so I have waited on a couple of celebrities. Rick Springfield, Eartha Kitt, Leif Garrett, and Geno Auriemma. (He is the coach of the UCONN Women's basketball team. Maybe not a celebrity to everyone else, but if you live in CT he is!:rotfl:) When we were at Disney in 2009, although we did not meet him, we saw Joey Fatone at CP! Does that count?:confused3

Good luck with you move! We just moved into our new house on May 12! Selling one house and buying another was the most stressful thing we have ever done!:scared1: We were lucky though. We put our house on the market on a Monday, had 3 showings on Tuesday, had an offer on Wednesday and had it sold by Friday. I hope you are as lucky.pixiedust:

Great IM update! Wow, you were right in all the action! Too fun! My DS can't say Imagination so I'm pretty sure he calls them the vacation movers. It's comes out sounding something like that! :rotfl:

Great news on the ADRs :) I bet you can't wait for 180 days!

Katie:

Wow, it looks like a fun time at Imagination Movers! It would be so neat if you were on TV!

No, celebrity meetings here. However, right before the last presidential election, it was rumored that President Obama was making a stop in our town before heading to a rally. We all waited for what seemed like forever at the local headquarters to be told that he would not have the time. My husband and I decided to go out to dinner. He wanted the local home-cooking restuarant while I wanted Chinese. While we were eating our nice Chinese dinner--his motorcade rolls by. We all go to the headquarters but guess where he went---you got, the local home-cooking restaurant! I could have kicked myself.

A) How exciting to build a new house! Good luck with it!

B) I'm glad you got everything you wanted for ADRs!

C) The Imagmovers looked really neat! Must have been a cool experience for your kids!

How fun! And ahhhhh Joey Fatone! I would've been screaming like a little girl. :rotfl: I was a big NSYNC-er. I love going to tapings and live shows. I've been lucky enough to go to Regis and Kelly twice and once I even got to go to SNL. So awesome! I love seeing all the behind the scenes stuff and how they get everything to come together. It's neat!

Hello there! I'm sorry that I wasn't able to reply to your post on my TR, but when I saw it they had already closed it up and I couldn't post anything. But, I am glad that you liked your pearl cages!!! I think it is the perfect settng for the pick-a-pearl!

I've got to go back and get caught up so I may not post for a few days, but I will be reading along! Can't wait to hear all about your Christmas in Disney plans! It is the BEST time to be at WDW!!! :santa:

Seems like you guys had a neat day with the Imagination Movers!! Must have been so cool to see them performing in that setting-- and to meet Duff!
To answer your question-- I've run into Jason Alexander and actually spoken with him. When I worked at Nordstrom in college, I saw Larry David and Zoe Deschanel (who was NOBODY then, shocked I recognized her). I was on the same Las Vegas back to NY flight with Flava Flav a few years ago...hmm, think that's it. Jason Alexander is the only one I actually spoke to-- actually, I did get autographs/pictures with Lisa Rinna and her husband when they performed in Chicago the musical.

Hi Katie,
Just checking in to see how the planning is going. I loved your pics from Imagination movers and the shirts are so cute too! Congrats on the upcoming move, very exciting having a house built! that is what we were supposed to do but it just got too stressful for a few reasons so we bought a spec home instead. Anyway I wanted to get your thoughts on GF vs. WL? Thinking about booking one of them for next year. We have never stayed at Grand Floridian but we did stay at WL back in 2003. Just wondering which one you liked better. I was thinking we are more of a Polynesian type family than GF. Did you think it was stuffy at all. Thanks in advance :goodvibes

It looks like you all had a blast at Imagination Movers! How cool that you had a brush with Knit Knots and Duff! Were the kids pumped up by that?

I've never had a brush with a celebrity. Boo! Maybe this time at disney since we'll be there while the ABC taping is going on.

Sounds like you did well with the ADRs! Hopefully the LC things comes through!

All caught up!! LOVE all the pics from the IM show!! Can't wait to see it on the Disney Channel! And how cool that you got to meet Duff!! :thumbsup2 Ok--famous people I have met--I met Margaret Thatcher when she came to speak at my college back in '97 or '98. I met Condoleezza Rice last year when she came to speak at my alma mater for their scholarship banquet. Laura Bush is coming this fall--I'm hoping we get to meet her, too!! We've also met the members of Signature Sound (a christian singing group) at a concert we went to in Feb. '09.

All caught up! Your pictures from Imagination Movers are great! It looks like a really good time was had by all! I was a little :confused3 over the fact that Nina would have said that "lei'd" comment!

Looking forward to reading more about your planning! :goodvibes

Oh, and YAY :yay: on Stevin Curtis Chapman!! :woohoo:

Sara

Love all the Imagination Movers pics.... can't wait to see the episode! Just what was Nina thinking with that comment  and I've always thought it was Uncle Knick Knocks :rotfl: My DS5 adores that show.

I've never met any famous people... oh wait! I just remembered when I was a little girl, maybe three or four, I met Bobby Vinton and he sang me a song. :teeth:

Hi katie- all caught up now- loved the imagination movers- so fun to be part of the behind the scenes magic!

hmmmm.....famous people- can't think of them all now, but we did see Kelly Ripa a few years back at Epcot (was first week of Dec, so she had just finished taping the christmas parade). i saw a ton of celebs when i worked at the studios during the 25th anniversary (1996), there was a huge press party that night (private) and a special celebrity parade. Michael J fox and more. lots of fun.

glad you got all the ADRs you wanted!!! :thumbsup2:wizard:

I love DUFF! So jealous that you got to see him in person!! I am addicted to Ace of Cakes!

I hope you are able to sell your house quickly!

Hello Everyone!!! I hope you are having a great week---ours has been VERY busy :goodvibes

First things first...we booked our ADRs! Here is what our list looks like as of now:

*Day 1 (check in late at WL)

Late Dinner @ Whispering Canyon with the whole family!! Really looking forward to eating there again!

*Day 2 (Epcot/Candlelight Processional)
??????

*Day 3 (MK/Resort Hop Day)

BBB and Pirates League at 9:30

Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast (only me, DH, DD and DS) :cloud9:

Ohana for late dinner with the entire Grand Gathering  YUM!!

*Day 4 (MK/MVMCP)

Liberty Tree Tavern right before MVMCP!! :santa:

*Day 5 (DHS)

No table service on this day---Starring Rolls for dinner---YUM-O!

So, I am sure you noticed that Day 2 has a big group of question marks. Well, that is because for right now, we booked this:

chefsdefrance.jpg

Don't get me wrong, I have always wanted to try Chefs de France! It is on the top of my "must do" list. However, I am really holding out for this:

lecelleir.jpg

We had no luck booking a dinner there :confused:That's ok, because we were going to have to cancel that ressie anyway when we can book the Candlelight Processional dinner package. My Travel Agent thinks that they are holding lots of tables for the CP packages. This makes me very excited and nervous all at the same time!! I am checking daily to see if the CP Dinner Packages can be booked. I hope we get in

I am sooo excited about all of our ressies!! They did say that with a party of 8 people, we may be put at two different tables. Anyone had any experience with this? What are the odds we can sit together?

I am holding out for Le Cellier, but Chefs would be just as amazing. I will keep you updated :goodvibes

TOY STORY 3!!!

On a different note, we went to see Toy Story 3 for the premiere! We laughed, we cried...it was AWESOME :cheer2:

I went to get the tickets on Sunday just in case they would sell out. Good think I did because the place was packed!

The kids wore these cute shirts from Old Navy

ToyStory043.jpg

I had also bought Abby the TS3 Chapter Book and Aiden a TS3 picture book.
They had fun reading them when we got home!

ToyStory045.jpg

We all can not WAIT for it to come out on DVD.

Question of the Day:

quest.jpg

"Did you see Toy Story 3? Which one of the three are your favorite?"

Up Next: Let's Go Shopping!! Fun new things I bought for our trip!

ohhhh I have to wait another 5 weeks to see Toy Story 3 !!! :scared1:

I can't wait to see it ... DF & I will definitely be at the cinema opening weekend to see it - I really wish there wasn't a gap between Pixar movies being released in the USA and England! ... not as bad as last year when we had to wait 4 months + for "Up" !

I've been watching the trailers etc on YouTube and TS3 looks fantastic - every review/comments I've seen this weekend seem great too! :thumbsup2

Hope you're having a lovely weekend... I'll keep my eye out for any Candlelight Processional news for you, fingers crossed for Le Cellier!

HAHA!! I actually thought of you when he came out. I figured since you were a NKOTB fan, you would love him too!! I would DIE to go to SNL. On our must do before we die list for sure!!

HI!!!! I am so happy that you are here! I am going to need your expert advice for sure. We just love our necklaces and can not wait to use them!! We are so excited for Christmastime in WDW! I noticed that we went around the same dates (we are Dec11-16). How did you find the crowds?

Seems like you guys had a neat day with the Imagination Movers!! Must have been so cool to see them performing in that setting-- and to meet Duff!

Duff seemed exactly like he is on TV, funny and nice. My friend had his wedding cake featured on the show (the Louisiana Plantation one). I love Jason Alexander!! You have met so many people!! How cool that you worked at Nordstrom===amazing job!!!

Hi Katie,

Planning was halted for a while, but I am back in full force!! We had a great time at IM!! I agree about the home you picked. I am so lucky that my hubby has a real estate company so we have many people to work with already. Otherwise--I would not build!! Heard too many horror stories!!

I personally LOVED the GF. It was so nice and quiet and the grounds were just beautiful. The rooms were very spacious and pretty. I loved the shops and the lobby---restaruants were all so good! However, the kids really enjoy the WL. It is much more entertaining for them and my DH and I loved it as well. We had more fun enjoying the resort at WL vs. GF. When my DH and I go alone in the future, we will def. stay at the GF again. BUT when the kids come, we are sticking to the WL and Poly. Hope that helps!!

The kids were as shocked as I was!! hehe

I am sure you will see celebrities at Disney!! I would die to go to the taping. We love to watch the special on television. It is becoming a great tradition for us! We taped it and watch it even now!!

Just updated about my ADRs!!

All caught up!! LOVE all the pics from the IM show!! Can't wait to see it on the Disney Channel! Thank you!! Duff was really funny in the show. Oh wow, I hope you meet Laura Bush!! I just love her. Saw her on Oprah recently and she is so wonderful.

All caught up! Your pictures from Imagination Movers are great! It looks like a really good time was had by all! I was a little :confused3 over the fact that Nina would have said that "lei'd" comment!

Oh wow! He sang you a song! What a great memory!
