We're Celebrating our Marriage with a trip to Disney World! Itinerary final touches

I am most looking forward to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. I am looking forward to MK too, but I almost feel like I am being a traitor to Disneyland by going there, lol. I am sure I will be doing lots of comparisons. But I know it will still be lots of fun, and I am excited about it.

I think most of us WDW ppl don't care for it because it's an intruder park since it was added so much later. I will say that EPCOT is my favorite park though I wish all the rides I grew up with were still around though.

There are so many rides that were at DLR that I miss terribly.

Plus it is like the zoo. Nice zoo, but still a zoo. Plus it always feels the hottest there. Plus the signs stink

Ironically it is AK that interests me the most. I think it is because it is so totally different than anything at DLR. That and Epcot.

I don't mind zoos! The only zoo I've ever been to is the Calgary zoo with the awful butterfly tent. It's a really nice zoo despite the butterflies, but it will be cool to finally see something different.

We don't do the rodeo part of the Stampede usually. Just the fair. Sometimes we go visit the tent where they keep all the show horses, and that doesn't smell the greatest, but the fair part smells excellent with corn dogs and mini doughnuts, lol.

I am actually really looking forward to the Stampede this year. It's the 100th anniversary, so they are going all out and it's going to be a huge, huge event this year.

All you AK haters... geeez! It's not my favorite park either and we don't go every trip BUT there are some things there that I enjoy very much. Like the safari and the train ride out to Rafiki's Conservation center. Plus I just love the whole vibe there ~ the music and such. The parade is great at AK!

Andrea, I can't believe you didn't have Toy Story Mania OR Buzz Lightyear on your lists of to do's!

Anyway, it will be fun to see your plans come to life. Your little man is precious!

Oh well that's a bit of a bonus. We were kind of bored in the line at DCA, lol.

Does anyone know if the one at WDW has Fast Pass? Or do we have to rush there right in the morning? Both times we went on TSM at DCA we had to wait close to an hour. Buzz was always pretty fast loading though.

I was just telling Scotty that I don't care how long the line is for TSM we are waiting in it. We still have not ridden it.

Hey not to disappoint you, but I'm not sure Test Track will be open when you're there. I'm not sure of the dates, but they're redoing it & it's closing in April & thru the fall.

I also didn't realize you were getting married so soon!!! CONGRATS!!!!!

I haven't said much about getting married on FB, just because we are keeping it small, so I don't want too much attention about it from friends, etc. Just yet. Just immediate family and one friend each!

I just looked at the calendar on the WDW site and I don't see Test Track listed at all. Looks like all that will be closed during our timeline is Big Thunder Railroad. Where did you see that it's closed?? I hope it won't be.

Oh no! That's a big bummer. I was really looking forward to that one. Oh well I guess, there is probably going to be something closed no matter when we go. Sigh.

I am kinda disappointed in Big Thunder being down, but we rode it so much in DLR the last time we were there, that it's not too big of a deal. If we hadn't been on it in the last year, I may have been more upset.

I guess since we haven't booked yet, we could try going a week earlier to catch it, but that puts us closer to the real busy time of spring breaks, and not sure I want to do that.

WDW's TSM does have a fast pass. But you have to sprint to get a fast pass as soon as the park opens. They go fast!! And everyone runs over there to get one as soon as the park opens.

And you do NOT, I repeat, you do NOT want to go during spring break!!!!! Seriously, wall to wall people!!! Don't do it!
