We returned from WDW/DCL on Saturday. During our time at WDW we purchased 175 points on SSR. We received approval from financing while we were there, but plan to pay it off in May before interest starts.
I have to give a million thanks to all of you on the boards. We went in knowing the in's and out's of DVC and was better prepared for the question to ask while we were there. We thought we were going in just to check it out and purchase resale when we got back to California, but after weighing out the closing cost and the extra 10 years we bought SSR. We originally wanted to purchase OKW resale.
We are going through our Member book now and looking at all the great traveling opportunities we have in front of us. It is so exciting!
Again, thanks to all of you. You made it happen with all your wisdom to my doubting, skeptical husband. Now he's more excited than me!

PS I took pictures of SSR, but can't figure out how to place it in my post. I took them from DTD. The progress seems to moving right along.
