and what a great 2 weeks we had overall! I'll have to go do a trip report this time - had a few 'challenges' at SSR but I'll still give them another chance.

Dh and I came to the conclusion that we will not do the dining plan again - way too much food for us - we don't usually eat that much and in the end when we were just ordering what we wanted.

Was stinky hot there last week - mid 90's. We had a great time but I am glad to be home now. 2 weeks was nice but about 3 days too long - we were all ready to be home by Thursday!

I agree that the dining plan is alot of food. We were stuffed every night. We would do it again if it was free but wouldn't pay for it.

Welcome back! We loved the dining plan for free, but would do a split stay and possibly pay DDP for half the trip. YES it is alot of food! But oh so good food too!!!!!! We haven't had a chance to post our trip report yet. Snowwhite and I would like to post it together and that has been the problem. We haven't been together much since we got back. We both work very different hours. Hope to get it done soon. Looking forward to reading your trip report.

The DDP scares me a bit -- I gained 10 lbs on our honeymoon without the dining plan -- I can't even begin to imagine what kind of damage I'll do with it!!

I agree the DDP is WAY too much food. Of course we'd do it again for free but probably do more counter service than table service. We also found it wasn't the best use of our time. You book your ADR's months in advance and it seems like you spend half your trip transporting from one park/resort to another trying to meet all those ADR's. Glad we had the opportunity to experience it though.
