Sci Fi shakes, an oreo and a chocolate, yummy

Sci fi's burgers are perfectly fine, and I like the turkey sandwich with avocado mayo too. The FF's are good if you like thick cut fries, mmmm

Later I just had to try the carrot cake cookie from Writers stop, I was very glad I did and returned later in the trip for other goodies. An Oatmeal raisin cookie that was almost the size of my head!!:rotfl2: Loved it too!

I can't leave out my favorite Princess (who was performing at DHS) and her new cottage (at MK) lol

An 8:05 breakfast at Tusker House, wasn't as neat as early entry into MK (and I anticpated it would be) and the food was ok but not nearly as wonderful as CP. Probably won't do this one again. It didn't help that it was freezing that morning and we were seated in a room way to the left which had an exterior door that the cast members kept going in and out of, then a HUGE group (you know the ones that have to use a flag...) was seated in the same room and kept using the door also, BRRRRRR

The Tree of Life was cool to see with no one around though!

Thanks for the reviews. And the great pics. We also loved both lunch and dinner at BOG. Never tried any other cupcake as the chocolate one was so good!!

On the day we moved to AKV Jambo House, we had a late lunch reservation at Sanaa over in Kindani Village. We shared a raspberry lemonade and mango smoothie, the salad sampler trio with watermelon and fennel, chickpea, and roasted beet, all very good. We also shared a turkey club which was perfectly fine but nothing special (I expected maybe turkey cooked in house but it was just generic deli meat). So the restaurant is gorgeous and the food is good, but the real star here is the savanah view from nearly all of the tables. Really cool!

Lovely table for a large party, no savanah view though

A few quick pics of our DVC villas, we stayed in a deluxe studio at AKV Jambo and a studio at VWL. Loved both so very much, prefered AKV by a small edge..

And here are a few of the VWL Studio, then back to the food!
Up next, apps at Territory lounge and apps & dessert at Artist Point.

Apps at Territory lounge, Eh.... We always love this place, but used to get the nachos which are no longer on the menu.
We tried the beer and cheddar fondue, the breads (a sourdough and a pretzel) just didn't taste very good with the fondue, I don't know what it was. The green apple and figs were pretty tasty..
We also tried the Bourbon chicken "lolipops" with cilantro. If they had called these teriyaki wings instead, I would tell you they were very good. BUT given the title, the abscence of any cilantro flavor (the green on top was parsley I think) and the fact that they were NO different in any way from a regular chicken wing, I just can't say that. They were tasty enough but not what was described or expected..

After Territory lounge we stopped by Artist Point for apps and dessert.
Chris tried the pork appetizer, it was good, not a wow.
819_zps32e63750.jpg

And I had read great reviews on the mushroom soup, it was excellent.
820_zpsdb3c6867.jpg

For dessert Chris had the "play" on cannoli's (the shells were more like a crunchy candy type of cookie, shaped into a cannoli shell, not good) there was a slight orange essense to the filling which was sort of runny and soft, just not the right texture. Unfortunately the slight hint of orange was about the only flavor in this dessert and the touted micro basil was nowhere to be found. The berries were good.... A big dissapointment :(

I had the signature at Artist point, the berry cobler with homemade berry ice cream. A wow, wow WOW dessert!! I will be craving this for the rest of my life and THIS dessert is the reason I will go back! (FYI, you can get the cobbler in the lounge also!) Underneath that delicoius warm crust was the most wonderful berry filling, comfort food at it's best!
