Hiya all,
thanks for the princess storybook breakfast advice - it was great - the kids loved it. They were dressed as Snow White (DD7) and Sleeping Beauty (DD5)
We had the first ADR of the day @8.30am arrived at Epcot before they opened the car parking and were in the first row (@7:55) Parking opened at 8 and was sooo close we could walk in. Straight through the easily seen special gate for pre opening breakfast ADRs, then a swift walk through an empty park - with the usual photo stops for the spaceship earth photo and the topiary characters - with no-one else there.
Arrived at the restaurant and "booked in" with the CM - after a short wait he told us with a flourish that our family's table was ready - Belle was the first princess at the door - the girls were overwhelmed that she spoke to them and held their hands for a photo. Then in we went - got juice , coffee and buffet stuff -pastries( inc cinnamon rolls), fruit, yoghurt, salami/cheese/smoked salmon - very nice and could go back as often as you wanted. Hot food was delivered on a family plate to the table - potatoes in a creamy onion sauce (we didn't like these - but some rave over them) scrambled egg, sausage links and crispy streaky bacon - could have it topped up when you wanted too.
The princesses came out about 8:50 - so the kids had some food in them by then!! First was Sleeping Beauty - in the same dress as my DD5 - said they could be sisters (ahhhh) Then Jasmine who was really nice and chatty - asked lots of open questions so the kids couldn't but help talking with her (VERY good CM with the kids!!) Snow white next - dressed same as DD7 but with white collar not blue - asked DD7 if she had raided her wardrobe -did some lovely in-character twirls and lalalalala s then got the girls to kiss her cheeks, then Mulan - girls love the film and said so - so she made a big fuss of them. Left at 9.30 to get FP for soarin (return time already 11.50!!). Overall cost $90 inc tip - pricey for the food, but great for the character interaction. So worth it?? - YES!
