We loved LTT on this trip. The first time we went there is was fantastic, the 2nd time it was fantastic, the 3rd and 4th time we almost decided to never go back because it was so horrible, but this time was awesome! Just goes to show, if you like it a few times, don't count it off the list because you might just catch it at a bad time. The food was fantastic and none of us could get enough. Now, we narrowed this one down as a possibility for giving us food poisoning, but we still count it as our favorite.
We also really liked Ohana's for breakfast. I had pretty much written this off my list as the first time we ate there for breakfast we didn't like it. But, the hubs wanted to go back and he was right on this one. It was fantastic and the character interaction was awesome!
Coral Reef, we didn't care for. the only thing we liked was the atmosphere. Service was not good, food was pretty bland and the menu didn't have many options for seafood in my opinion. Which is good for people like my husband who don't like seafood, but I wanted crab legs or lobster and was suprised they didnt' have it as an option. Salmon was so so and I didn't care for anything else on the plate.
The final place we went was Biergarten. It was ok. We didn't get to see any of the entertainment which was pretty disappointing. I love that htey have pretzel bread and I LOVED the german potato salad, but otherwise it wasn't all that fab to me. This was my husband's restaurant pic and he was sort of in the middle about it too. On his mickey head rating scale (1-4) he gave it a 2.5. It was also odd to be with another group of people. We never minded this when we were just us, but sitting with other people while you have a toddler is, well, odd. I felt like I was being stared at and judged the whole time on my parenting skills. She was a little antsy during the meal too.
We stayed at SSR this time and were pretty impressed with the counter service there. We at bfast there a few times and had lunch there once. It was all very good.
