We just got home from 2 weeks in America including Disneyland. We stayed at The Grand Californian. I want to be back there right now *stamping my foot*…LOL..I have post Disney blues so bad

Welcome back! Sounds like you had a wonderful trip! And you got to stay at the GC? Jealous

I have two ways of dealing with the post-holiday blues...

1. Do a trip report - it gives you a great excuse to look through all your photos and re-live all your great memories :goodvibes

2. Start planning the next one! :thumbsup2

I know what you mean. We got back a fortnight ago after a 6 week Disney Holiday. We were on a Disney Cruise and Disney World. We experienced post trip blues so decided to book another Disney holiday :) We're working on it now :)

I am already planning the next trip. I told DH tonight I think we should go back next year, it will be our last trip for a couple of years while DD does her HSC…I keep saying we will travel somewhere different, but we always end up back in America..I'd love to stop in Hawaii next time too….I better start saving my $$$ again…lollll..Damn you travel bug :lmao:

Yes the GC was a dream come true. I kept pinching myself every time we walked through the foyer. I still can't believe we stayed there. It was truly magical and all decked out for Christmas. We drank cocktails by the fireplace while the carollers sang. It was amazing.

Wow, six weeks. So lucky!
We spent 3 months in 2008 for DH's job. That's what got all of us addicted to Disney and America. Unfortunately DH can only get short breaks now, so it's like 2 weeks at a time. But it's long enough to feed our addiction :rotfl:.
When are you planning on going back?

We might be doing a short trip in May and then a longer trip in December along with a Disney Cruise :)

:thumbsup2 I'm doing both of zanzibar's suggestions and it certainly makes the post holiday blues easier to cope with.

I am dreading the post holiday blues, at least a have a while to wait for that to happen, though I know it will come around really fast. DH has said that if the cruise is a success then he wants to do another in 2015 so I have that to start planning when we get back, so something to look forward to there::yes::

I am planning the next one now. It will probably late November 2014. It will be the last for a few years, so I am planning a good one ;)
