We're back from surprising our kids– a grateful family -with pics and video.

Great report, , just found it today. We were just at CSR in Aug. w/ free dining and had an awesome time and it is a great resort but it was sooooo humid.. we sure got a lot of use out of the pools. We did have plans to go in Dec. but the dh said he was disneyed out... WHAT???? How can anyone be disneyed out and didnt think we should go in Dec. (and he is not a disney hater, actually just the opposite, was hooked after our first trip in '05). So I said " Naw, I just think it was to hot. We both said never again in aug. So I jump on Dis one morning and see "Special... $49 a night, std. room value, Hmm.... so I tell dh and we discuss it and throw it around for a few days. Then..... I get the Disney visa card email, Hmmmm, beep the hubby on the nextel, , when he gets home we talk and book it,free dining clinched it again
Can't wait to read the rest of your report and see the kids faces when they get their 'SURPRISE"

I'm a cronic lurker & usually use the dis for info or daydreaming but your PTR has brought me out! I love the reasons your going, love your tshirts, love the notes, and your suprise plan! It sounds like so much fun!!

DH & I took his parents last April and we rented ECV's from Buena Vista Scooters for myself & FIL. I think they are based on property somewhere by Beach Club. Had a wonderful experience. They were waiting for us at check in (we got there around noon). Never ran out of power. Were very easy to use. Our only problem was our own fault. We were staying at FW in the cabins & got caught in the rain (more like torrential down pour) on our way back from MK one night. Water & Electric dont mix . When I called them to ask what we needed to do, they told us we would have to leave it or push it as their mechanic had already left for the day.

Thanks for joining in. I fully understand about wondering how people could be disneyed out. I am still surprised that DH has gone along with the whole thing and hasn't complained when I talk to him about the trip. I tell him it's either talk to him or tell the kids. Glad to hear that you were able to sign up for a great deal. Disney must be feeling the economy now- they keep coming out with more and more discounts for the fall, but, not anything new for our time period. Oh well - I'm happy with what we've got.

Welcome out of lurkdom! I have recently loved reading TRs/PTRs as they get me excited and I love looking at everyones’ pictures. Thanks for reading! DH made all of his scooter calls this week and decided on Care Medical. I think it’s interesting that Scootarama (who we used last time) never got back to him. Congratulations on your new coming addition! 32-33 weeks is a great time in pregnancy. Having been high risk, it was always the time I started to get excited.

Thank you for reading. We have 19 more days to keep the secret. Sometimes, it’s so hard. You know those times when they’re misbehaving and you want to be able to hold something REALLY BIG over their heads. “If you don’t start behaving we’re going to cancel our trip to Disney World!” None of that being said around here. I just keep thinking about the looks on their faces.

WOW...You have been busy!! How exciting! I dont know how you are keeping this a surprise. You have way more will power than me!! It hasnt even been 6 months since our last trip & I'm already missing it!!

Yes DH & I are really getting excited about our baby now. Its getting more & more "real". I had a baby shower with my family a few weeks ago & his side is this coming weekend. We are quickly running out of room & she isnt even here yet. Luckily we havent had any serious complications with the pregnancy, but we did have a very difficult time getting pregnant. Our baby is an invitro baby, and we feel very blessed!

I finally started printing everything. Today, I printed out a passport for DS8 to use at Epcot. Can't wait to go to Staples this weekend and get it bound.

How do they bind it? I'm going to make DD and DS trip journals with pages to write in, coloring pages, games etc and I was thinking about getting them bound but I wasn't sure if I wanted the plastic thing with bunches of rings or something else.

I'm going to get them bound with a spiral. This way it'll lay flat when needed. When I was at Staples the other day they told me it would cost about $3.00.

Welcome! Glad I was able to remind you of something - now, we're even I started working on my postcard list today.

I can’t believe we only have 8 more days! The boys still have no idea what is going on. DS13 keeps talking about his flag football tournament on 10/16 and is arranging to get together with a friend for the day they’re off school on 10/18. I whispered in friend’s mother ear that DS won’t be here and she told me that we need to take her too so she could keep the secret. DS8 keeps talking about his field trip to the potato chip factory on 10/16. I think they’ll like where they’re going better.

The elementary school teachers are excited for DS8. They’re not giving him work to do ahead of time and really won’t have much for him to do when he gets home. Just a little catch up. We need to work with math facts while we’re away and we can easily do that with flash cards. We showed the teachers the journal and Epcot passport that DS8 will be writing in and they were impressed that we’re making him do so much. Still haven’t heard back from the middle school principal but I did email the team leader so the 7th grade teachers know.

I’m going to be packing on Sunday while the boys are out of the house. It’s getting so close.

I’ve been spending some time looking at some of our 2006 pics. getting ideas. So, thought I’d share some of my favorites.

On our last morning, we went to O'hana for breakfast with Lilo & Stitch. DS8 was soooooo tired this day. The week had caught up with him at this point. We figured he'd have 16 hr of driving to sleep it off.

DS8 couldn't sit up while we were waiting for our table.

One of the reasons we chose O'hana was it was Stitch but was also supposed to be Mickey so DS8 could say goodbye. Unfortunately, Mickey wasn't there that day - he sent Goofy instead. So, when Pluto came to our table, I asked Pluto if he would say goodbye to Mickey for us and DS8 started to tear up (he was so tired). Pluto just came down to DS8 and they each gave each other a huge hug. It was one of my favorite memories from our trip.

DS13 (then 11) had really learned how to swim the summer before our trip. He was so happy when he came down the slide at the pool at CSR.

Back to O’hana breakfast. DS13’s favorite character 2 yrs ago was Stitch. He had a great time when Stitch sat down at our table to join us for some Mickey waffles. Yum!

I have tears in my eyes now just thinking of that for you. My boys were like that as well. I always cry when I walk into MK the first time of a trip and I always cry when I turn around and see that castle one last time. When we left 2 yrs ago I never would've thought we'd be coming back this fast.

I am bursting. Looking forward to seeing their quizzative (is that a word?) faces when we arrive at their schools next Wednesday.

And out next trip will just be us....the last one was with my dad and this one is with his parents (although that leaves my mom.....hmmmmm maybe once she sells her house in NY in 2 years...she has told me when she sells the house, she plans on giving us children some $ from the sale.hmmmm I sense another Disney trip!!!)
