... the weather has been atrocious! Ugh.. nothing but rain and storms for most of the day. We're getting hit with feeder bands from the storm in the Atlantic.
If you're headed this way, bring an umbrella and boots!!
Yuck. We fly into Ft Lauderdale in a week pre WDW I hope it's gone by then. Sorry you're stuck in it. We were there for tropical storm Faye and I didn't think it would ever stop raining. Went thru 2 or 3 ponchos.
August - October = wet season I hope the sun comes out tomorrow for you. I hate it when it rains on vacations when you're wanting to be outside. Make the best of it, at least the most of the rides are inside!
Actually, we only live just a bit south of WDW and saw on the radar that our house is being deluged by rain as well. So, if it's got to be raining, it's more fun to be here! lol
We're headed out to the pool right now to see if we can get in some swim time before the next down pour.
call me strange, but my husband and I like it when it rains, all the people head out of the parks and its almost empty. We always pack our rain jackets and brave it through. We have some of our best times when its raining in the magic kingdom
According to the aviation weather reports, MCO isn't supposed to get rain today until around 4pm. You should be able to get plenty of pool time in before that.

DH and DD had so much fun riding Everest in the rain! They got to ride it over and over. It was Dec and chilly and DD said she was just pretending the rain was snow

I'll call you strange and I'll call my family strange too because we do the same thing . We love it when it rains in Disney. On one trip we came back to our resort for some R&R and when we got to the room it started to rain, DH and I looked at each other and then told the kids to grab the ponchos because we are going back . As the masses were trying to get out, we were trying to get back in. There was hardly anyone in the park, which was MK BTW .
OP I do feel bad for you and your family, however the bright side is that you are in Disney .
