We're All MAD here! SPAZZ hands, cupcakes, booze, and running...GSC Feb. 2015 PTR

I just wanted to say that I love rope drop too :goodvibes

I'm reading your 2014 TR

Officially JEALOUS of a stay at Universal and a day with Harry! Cammy and I have been trying to figure out how to squeeze in a trip for a few hours to see the expansion...sadly, it is just not going to happen...so I will get to live through you!

We are getting closer....:hyper::hyper::hyper: pretty soon we will be doing the double digit dance.

Love the pictures as usual...I love the little overlooked moments that you capture...like the girl with the balloons.

Thanks Tammie! Those are my favorite kinds of shots.

I'm excited but I need to do RESEARCH! I really know very little about Universal. AND, I'm pretty excited we get to see the expansion...we have NEVER seen any of it, so I guess I'm glad we waited! I have never been able to find a way to get to Universal when at WDW because I just refuse to give up Disney time. This will work out really well!

That is so awesome your friend is treating you to HP at Universal :cool1:

The festival looked fun. Such great pics!

That is so cool that you are adding a day. It is far more fun to add than to subtract. :goodvibes I hear ya though on being :scared: a bit when it comes to the two trips being so close together. On paper... I knew my trips were close...and I knew that once the dlh trip hit I would be busy non stop until the phm.. but :sad2: If I am not working, I am training and if I am not training I am planning. Dis time has seriously suffered. You talk of suitcase being left out. Yeah... I barely get unpacked and it is time to pack again. First world problems for sure and I am not complaining... but I do sympathize with you on how hectic close trips can make life.

As always, I love your pictures. That parade looks amazing no doubt due to the skill of the photographer taking the shots.

Thanks! I don't think we would ever have gone, I just can never bring myself to drop another $500+ for five of us to do a day there when I already have Disney tickets. I'm excited but need to find the time to do some research, I know very little about Universal, except what I've heard from my BFF and her trip!

Awww, thanks! Yep, I am crazy with life and work (have to make money to actually go on these trips! LOL) and just don't have much time for the DIS right now. My official training starts next week, so I'm pretty excited for that! :cool1:

I appreciate those of you that can actually keep up with my PTR, I really don't have a ton of planning going on right now. I did read the boards yesterday for a little bit, and braced myself for the fact that the first trip to Orlando (one day at MK) we will not be able to get very good FP's. From what I'm reading all the good headliners are gone by 30 days out when offsite people can get them. :scared:

I have another busy day/week here, tomorrow starts Glass Slipper Training! But before that, it's my baby's birthday today! :lovestruc She's 14 and I swear each year I'm MORE shocked at the time passing so quickly. I cannot imagine a more amazing daughter, I am so blessed to have her in my life. She's honestly the best part of me and I think I've learned more from her than she has me. Such a kind heart and I'm so honored to be her mom! *gush*

We do a shoot each year for her bday, these are a few of my favorites:

Happy first training day for GSC!

I have enjoyed seeing all of Savannah's birthday celebrations on facebook. She is growing into such a beauty...and what a wonderful mom...the party was amazing!

Good God Lemon, I just had a panic attack looking at my counter.

Three months till Princess!!!!

On to exciting news. I purchased white hair color at Target yesterday for my Elsa streak. I know I'm killing you with not having my costume ready. I think really I know there is NO way to top the Tweedle.. .and so my heart is not into it!

I also must get your Tweedle shiz mailed to you! For inspiration if anything. Since the race THREE MONTHS OUT! ARGH!!!!!

That's CRAZY!!!!!! :scared1: I'm stressin' about running 6.2 this weekend and that's going to be our "easy" run!

I was looking on Pinterest for you, I figure if you can't get your shiiite together, I can at least help! :lmao: I know the Tweedle is hard to top, but I'm fairly excited about my Alice. I want to try my whole costume on soon and take a pic, I think that will get me jazzed up. Same with the Tweedle when it arrives!!! :woohoo:

Don't you start official training today? Good luck on your run, think good-tweedle-thoughts, that's what I do on my runs! :lovestruc

I just wanted to do my tweedle mandated reporting.....

I did indeed start the training yesterday. And.... it sucked. I will never understand why I can do 6 miles 2 weeks ago and then struggle with EVERY BREATH IN MY BODY to do 2.5 miles? Especially when my variables are the same.....

My body is dumb. That's what I'm blaming it on!

But I did it. Next up. 3 miles this weekend. (only I'm doing 4 because. you know.. I am SUPPOSED to be doing 10 miles in TWO WEEKS!!!)

Good luck on your 10K. You will do awesome!

You are supposed to do 10 miles in two weeks?!?! WHY??? :crazy2: I can never really tell why I have bad runs vs good ones either. I will say that sometimes I go out too fast and that causes a bad run. I'm going to have to beat that into my brain until tomorrow morning. I'm SO stressed about this race. It's not like I need the time to submit, I need to remember that. I'm perfectly happy with my submission already, so I should just enjoy the miles...but it's a RACE and I don't want to be last!

It doesn't help that I'm slammed with work and exhausted. I don't know how I'm going to do it...but do it I will!

Starting out too fast is always a big problem for me- although I was mindful of it yesterday so I dunno..........:confused3

It's also a HUGE problem for me with races because you end up trying to go everyone else's pace.. and that is ALWAYS crazy too fast for me. I am one who does best starting at like a 14 minute mile run..and as I bring up my miles- I get faster.... not the other way around...... It's hard to do that come race time.

And why am I doing 10 miles? Because I incorrectly assumed when I signed up last summer that I would be conditioned for 10 miles by now. :) I do not always think that smartly.

Ok, well let me do MY mandatory update......I've run 0 miles this week, maintaining my personal best!! :lmao: I've actually worked a 40 hour work week this week --- no fancy holidays like Columbus Day to interfere with my time! I've written at least one update to my own ptr (it may have been 2 --- I can't remember). Let's see, I've joined a photopass share for February (for the one day we'll be at EPCOT) for $22 oh, and our vehicles were ransacked last night in our driveway.........yep. That's about it!! :lovestruc

What amazing pictures of Savannah. She is quite stunning.

Good luck with your official GSC training. :goodvibes The race will be here before we know it! I don't know that I am going to do anything special for my training.... probably just keep doing what I am. Not sure I like that 10 to 13 miles on the weekend is "normal" for me but it is what it is and I figure I don't have to think much about specific training for any one race. Maybe I should though

I can never figure out how to start a race!!!! We all have lofty goals too...I was supposed to be ready for that 10K a few weeks ago and we know how that went. Have another 10K scheduled in a month...hopefully I will be better prepared!

I'm very late to the party but I'm here! I KNOW you're ecstatic! :joker:

I'm subbing in high school today so basically just babysitting while they do the piles of work their dear teacher left for them. Which gives me plenty of time to some marathon PTR reading- really the only kind of marathon you'll probably find me doing. Well, and Netflix marathons. I'm a world class champion at those. :happytv:

Okay, off to read now. :surfweb:

ETA: This is HOMEWORK for me- I have a client who's interested in the Princess 1/2 for 2016 so I need to know these things. Best. Job. Ever.

Okay, all caught up. Not that you've even noticed I'm here yet. It's almost as if you haven't been chained to a desk babysitting 15 and 16 year olds all day. :rolleyes1

So, you've shared our drunken Sip-n-savor pics and blamed your topless Six Flags exploits on me... good thing we haven't been to Vegas or you'd be ratting me out for the entertainment of your readers for sure. :rotfl2:

All of your plans look fab, as always. Suuuuper jealous of the day at WWoHP and can't wait to see pics of the expansion. And just so you know, staying on site doesn't just mean early entry to the Wizarding World, it also means unlimited Express Pass. Basically your hotel key is like an unlimited, no waiting for a return time FP. Like FP it's not good for every ride (so ride Forbidden Journey first!!) but still a great perk.

And just so you know I wasn't slacking off, now I know when to tell Annise (yep, she's my PH client) when race registration happens. So, I was totally working while I was working today. :thumbsup2

All it took for you to come back to the DIS was a little job change, right? ;) I haven't been very good about upkeeping this PTR anyway!

Ooooh, you should really go read my Trip Report from this year then, I think seeing how everything actually happened for PHM will help you plan for her! So exciting! She will seriously have to be ON IT to register for the race (and I don't think you can do that for her) It sold out in less than a couple hours this year, I think. They have already printed the date for next year that 2016 goes on sale, I think it's July 14, 2015 but I'll double check.

and I totally blame everything on you...DUH! ;)
