Were a lot of flights to NY canceled today?

Just curious, and can't find a quick way to find out. This is from the West Coast by the way!!

I know that Continental cancelled all flights in and out of Newark Liberty.

Yes - just about everything in the NY-DC corridor was cancelled.

If you know the airline you are trying to find out about, you can go to their web site and enter the start and end airports for this date and it will bring up all scheduled flights and their status.

There were about 7,000 flight cancellations in the Mid-Atlantic to NE corridor today.

I was just watching the news and they showed Newark Airport. It was deserted. There was one girl that they interviewed that said she couldn't get a flight out to the west coast until the 14th

Yes, the news said 400,000 passengers have to re-book new flights.

Orlando International is full of people whose flights were cancelled. Most of the hotels near the airport are totally full.

My dh meetings have been resheduled because 2 guys are stuck in california and cant get here to NY. One of them flew all the way from New Zealand so far.
