I must be insane! But I was so eager to go back after having not been at DLR since Oct. 2008!
We didn't get there until 1pm, but the crowds were not excessive at all! We parked on level 4 (Goofy) of the parking structure, and got on to the second tram after we got in line. We walked right on to Buzz and POTC, waited only 5 minutes for Dumbo at around 6:45pm, and about 20-30 minutes for TSMM (it was hard to gauge time with the 2 kids!).
The Baby Care Centers were very helpful, but I was a little disappointed that their policy is that only mom and baby can be in the nursing area - so I had to nurse DD in the front of the BCC at DL, until the CM took pity on me and let DS, DD and I in the expressing area. I mean, I get that most moms wouldn't want a little boy hanging around while they are nursing their babies, but I didn't have anyone else to watch him, and DD has a hard time nursing with distractions. But that's my problem, not anyone else's!
She actually did better nursing on POTC than anywhere else! DS didn't even know she was eating.
She didn't like being in the stroller, so I had to wear her most of the day. My Mei Tai carrier is very comfortable, but after a few hours it does get a bit strenuous! My back is not thanking me today!
The weather was perfect. DS was so very happy to be there, and kept hugging me.
I was crazy to take both kids by myself, but it was mostly successful and I'll probably do it again soon since we got our SoCal APs!
