and the hair dresser cut my hair way to short! I hate it:sad1: . I asked for it to be cut just above shoulders and she cut it to below my chin. short hair does not suit me at all.
So I have spent £40 on a hair cut that I hate, and then tell the hairdresser that I like it!

:grouphug: to you

Kaylee - I always do the same, tell them I like it when I don't - I have no idea why, then I go home and moan about it

I can totally sympathise! I had my hair in a bob, and took a notion at the beginning of December that I would like it layered. Well, I wanted nice long layers, but I ended up with really short ones, and I hate mine as well. I had to put up with it over Christmas as well. My hairdresser will not have her scissors near my hair for a LONGGGGGG time. It is not nice when you have a haircut that you hate, and I did feel quite depressed. The only consolation is that it will grow!!

Shame that you don't like it ~ I would have to have told her that. Perhaps she could have altered the style to something you like, had she known.

On the positive side ~ At least it will grow back:hug:

Why did you tell her you liked it????

I don't know, I guess its because it is easier than saying I hate it. I am a shy person so find it hard to speak out about something.

The actual cut is fine, it is the length that I don't like so not much I can do about it apart from let it grow.

:grouphug: Hope it doesn't take too long to grow

I was a hairdresser before i had Bex and the one thing i always do is leave it longer to start with you can always cut it a bit more if you need to. I don't have that problem any more i cut my own and get Bex to cut the back:thumbsup2

I can really sympathise with you. It is one of the reasons I have not had my hair cut for 10 years. (It seems to have stopped growing now anyway!!)

It will grow back fairly quickly though.

Good luck

Susan

I'm not shy but if I didnt like a haircut in the first place there's no way the hairdresses is getting thier scissors near my hair after I tell her I dont like it!

I hate getting my hair cut and generaly dont like it for at least a few days after, I just tie it back and wait until it grows a teeny bit, it always looks better then.

:yay:

I am sure it won't take long to grow again, now the big thing - will you let her cut your hair again :)

:grouphug:

I know how you feel, i dont suit short hair myself and sometimes they cut it way to short and it looks horrid :sad2: Maybe I should not get it cut anymore :rolleyes1

You might not like the haircut now but think positive having your hair cut off is very good for it so it will look better in the long run.

Having mine cut on Saturday and will get 6 inches taken off plus have it coloured again.

Aww Im sure it looks lovely.
If I haven an inch off my hair I go into hiding....I think my hair is a comfort blanket :lmao:
Im sure you will like it once you get used to it.:goodvibes

I feel for you, I've been there done that, who knows given time you might adjust to it, sending lots of :grouphug: ...besides as its so cold at the mo, start a new winter hat trend:lmao:

Oh no!!! How awful. I am always dubious about who cuts my hair. Many times people have cut it wrong and it looks awful. Now I have a regular lady who cuts my hair, as I wont let anyone else near it.

When my hair was cut too short. I put my hair into a zig zag parting. For some reason it took the emphasis off the length of the hair.

Hope it does not take too long to grow. :grouphug:
