Went to the GREATEST yard sale yesterday!

If we had been a little quicker it would have been even better- but that is how it goes in the Wonderful World of Yard Sales. We missed a BRAND NEW dog crate (one of the big ones) for $5! But we did snag a brand new in the box satellite dish for $5 and a Barbie Power Wheels Jeep for $5! That seemed to be their price- $5!

My dh wanted to give the Jeep to my niece (who is too young for it, plus I'm sure her parents would want "new" ) and I said, "NO! How about we sell it and make a disgustingly huge profit?" Then he said, "Okay Psycho Disney Woman! Calm down- I feel like I'm listening to Donald Duck just freaking out!!"

Ya know, that's the nicest thing he's ever said to me. ((((Sniffle)))) anyone got a tissue?

Congratulations!! Don't you just LOVE yard sales???? I usually go out with my DS8 but it rained too early here yesterday. I always look for books and whatever else. I was in heaven last year when these 3 ladies got together and sold off a ton of rubber stamps!

My big search for this summer was a game boy color for DD4 (they no longer make or sell them) and I got one a couple weeks back for $10. I also got 5 games for it for $2 each...yes!

My best buy for DS this year was when he stayed home. I found a Pokemon notebook filled with over 100 pokemon cards (including lots of Japanese and holographic ones) for $1!!! I couldn't believe it! I was very calm when I paid for it but soooo excited when I showed DS!

Next saturday is the library book sale and I always get a ton of stuff there. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we'll be able to get to more sales!

Well Pam, since I live here I'd say no! LOL It was literally right around the corner from me. I'm trying to ebay and yard sale my way to WDW.... "Psycho Disney Woman" that I am!

I never can find anything at yard sales, so I don't go on them. My mom, my dd and my SIL love them. They feel sorry for me and my inability to find anything, so they get me some stuff. My mom's best find this month is a new Mickey nightshirt for me.

I'm with Browneyes! I can't ever seem to find anything either. I look & look & look & leave thinking "my God, that person is selling JUNK!" I do stop at every yard sale that I see Toys at but they are soooooooo disgustingly dirty that I walk away. When I had my garage/yard sale years ago, I washed everything & I normally keep original boxes too so I put the item in it's original box too. I wish I'd hit those garage sales that took the same courtesy & time as I did!
