a Nintendo Game Cube...
Doesn't play DVD's..:( Came with 3 games..Spiderman, a New Mario game & a new Disney game..:bounce: :bounce:
All I had to pay was for a 2nd controller and taxes...$45

Now, what are some good multiplayer games for this??
Was hoping to find a MarioKart game like Nintendo 64 but haven't seen one....

Thanks for any help..:)

My kids would have been really phsyiced at a game cube win...

Monkeyball is a fun up to 4 player game.

(Only game my kids could teach me)

I think a GameCube was probably a better thing to win anyway if you plan on playing with the girls. The games are more family centered rather than shoot-em-up and blood/gore games. I've been looking into the best system to get this year for Christmas and from what I've seen it is the way to go. Just my observation though. :)

There is always this for a racing game...

LOL Doh! :)

We own one of these and love it. Right now the games we have are (went to go check) hidden away by my DH when he cleaned last  I know I love playing Super Smash Brother's Melee and NFL Blitz. DH is in love with the James Bond game (can't recall the name) and that is either a good single or multi player game. Unfortunately neither of us is really into many multi-player games because we are both very competative and have a tendency to do a tad bit better on the solo games ;) If no one has any good games they have for multi-players, I'll ask him tomorrow when he's awake, what he did with all the games. I think we also have Super Monkey Ball and that has some cute multi-player mini-games in it. I know we have more but I just can't remember what they are. Enjoy your GameCube... that's the one we finally picked after months of debating on which to get (I won over his initial desire to have the XBox :bounce: :teeth: )

That was our take on the thing too.

You know...Mario Party is a really fun multi-player game...we have it for N64 and will get the GameCube version too. It's a lot of fun!

I wonder if i can exchange spiderman for another game..
I didn't open it yet...

Super Smash Brothers Melee
Mario Party
Simpsons Road Rage
sound like me...
:bounce: :bounce:
Now for the price..

We played this thing today for like 5 hours..
Mandy loves it..:jester:

I don't know how old all of the players are but if some are older Gauntlet is a multi-player game. DS and I have teamed up a lot. :teeth:

We also saw that Scooby Doo Night of 1000 Frights is just out. I have no idea how many people can play at once though or if the game has been reviewed yet.

My kids (and all their friends) LOVE Super Smash Brothers. I think that's a must-have for kids with GameCube.

Going out tomorrow and trading Spiderman for Super Smash Brothers!!!!

BTW---what do you do in this game???...
or for that matter, any of the other games??

Perry is in tears.......:teeth:

Drag!

Oh well, Rogue Leader (although a single player game) is awesome & well worth a pick.

Meanwhile, heavily hint to Santa that an Xbox would be a great Christmas gift (assuming you have a PS2). If you don't have a PS2, get that one first. Grand Theft Auto 3 (although definitely not for the young'ns) is well worth the the money & the new one, Vice City, is by all accounts, 10 times better than GTA3.

My boys love their Game Cube and they LOVE Super Smash Brothers Melee!!
They also are into the sports and like NFL Blitz 2003 alot.
They just got Spider-Man last week and they love it! :teeth:
They got Pac-Man Fever last night and really like that alot, too! :)

FYI...Mario Party 4 doesn't come out until Oct. 21! :)

I also think Gamecube is better if your girls are going to end up playing it for the reasons already posted.

My kids love their new game, Mario Sunshine! We got theirs 5 minutes after Electronics Boutique started selling it, and got one of the last ones! Most people reserved them, and the store only had 3 to sell for walk-ups!

And don't forget, Zelda for Gamecube is forthcoming as well!

Darn, xbox is much better system. And we don't have Mario Cart for that system. If you have kids, they will enjoy the cube though.

YES BLONDIE!!! AHA, now you discovered the REAL reason why I bought the cube.
I am waiting for ZELDA with baited breath.

BTW I do appreciate this thread it has helped me alot.

ALSO I would like to give you a tip...RENT a game first if you are unsure. I have found this to be invaluable. I rented Luigi's Mansion twice and we finished it. Star Wars Rogue Leader I can't even blow up the Death Star. This game could take many years to completion.

GET PIKMIN...very fun and challenging

Ooh, I forgot about Zelda. My 8 yo totally LOVES Zelda. My other boys, do too, and they can't wait for it to come out! We've had every Zelda game ever made! :teeth:
